Honesty, she's earned it. It was painful to watch them just circle around each other, but now that Mari has realized that she's the one who has to take initiative, it feels like there's actually a chance for them to move forward.
I came here for laughs, and while I've had a bunch of those, I'm also getting more and more impressed with how incredibly loyal and selfless Mari is, even to a fault. That's one super girlfriend, and for a zany comedy manga, it's doing a great job of making me invested in these characters.
