Such a nice, sweet old school manga. I would love to see an after story, see how Kaoru and Sahoko are doing together

What a great manga, but I couldn't help to feel really angry at the sheer idiocy of the men. I know than it were different times but still, what a bunch of assholes.

The table of contents mentions another chapter called Demon Flower, any idea if that ever got translated?

while reading the old woman thing i laughed so hard, then i was like "oh wait she is serious".
laughing aside its hard to see that it was in the early 90's that it was published, not that long ago.

I read this about 8-10 times a year , mostly when there is nothing else to read but today I just wanted something sweet and more down to earth . Today marks the fifth time so far I have read this manga in this year alone .

I had no idea what just happened? Anyone explain.

I'm talking about last 2 chapters.

The main first story is only 3 chapter long, the 2 last constitute something like a prequel, of the dark haired girl and her past. It's not really connected to the main story.

Re-read this manga today. Just wanted to say the mangaka Tsukumo Mutsumi passed away in March this year. RIP Tsukumo Mutsumi, Moonlight Flowers was an enjoyable read.

This was too much...
but even so, the dialogues are so much deeper and complex than a lot of modern yuri manga where no one has gay friends or even says the word "lesbian". Sad to hear the author passed away.

That was... Empowering, sweet, and really fucked up. It's kinda incredible given this was written decades ago, because it's so blisteringly progressive...

Like, probably the single most mature and genuine feeling yuri I've ever read. It makes me sad that I avoided it for so long because of the rape tag. (With good reason, but it was definitely worth bearing and important to what the story is trying to say)

I can't recommend this enough.

That was cool. Some bitter characters here and there, but there are also bitter people in real life too.

Have read this countless of times and it’s still resonates with some of the machismo/ patriarchal thoughts towards lesbians. But god damn, this story is so beautiful. A true gem.

^Thanks for commenting and bumping this up. I confused it with something else but decided to give it a read. I don't have anything insightful to add, but this is a really good 'un.

Oh, also, Kaoru is totally dreamy.

This and Pieta are two of my favorite classics. The way it calls out men is pretty cool. I don't think modern comics in Japan go that far.
