Wow, read chapter 16-17. The manga IMO is as epic as the anime though very different in style.
As a cute mostly girls manga this is one of very high quality and very well balanced. The drawing of characters, and their expressions, also their quirk is so amusing and refreshing like no other. And how they show the yuri subtext is pretty satisfying too.

I think the anime and manga are both based off the game. The anime seem to be in the future of the game/manga though.

Out of curiosity, what is the basis in which so many anime get their 'Lick my feet!' trope, from? Does everyone just not-so-secretly know about dominatrix stuff? Or is it a more common bullying/condescending taunt of sorts?

More or less of both I guess? From what I know it's like a reference to 'You're below me' kind of thing as such the 'Lick my feet' trope is more or less likely viewed as a way of appeasing those above them. Well this is more like my understanding to the trope. Hope that helps.

This manga is available for purchase in English, for anyone interested. Given the lack of a "Volume 1" or anything, I'm guessing both of the original tankoubon volumes have been combined into one book. The anime anthology doesn't seem to be published in English as of now, but hopefully that will change soon.

The manga's listed as having 310 pages. That would come out to a naive average of 15.5 pages per chapter, which means it's definitely both volumes.

(Though personally, I'd spend a little extra and get it from somewhere else - Amazon's "packaging" has always reflected their pricing, in my experience)

I have the Manga at home and yes the Englisch version contains Vol. 1+2. 300 pages if cuteness for around 20$ - that's what i call a bargain !
