What got worse? 10 years ago, she was a cheating girlfriend, and Sumin had already left her high and dry. These day, she is you guys’ most favorite character. :'D Also, Sumin had to talk to her when she wanted to cut ties with her. Moreover, Sumin even agreed with her one last wish. As for the present, well, she is redeeming herself and trying her best to treat both Seju and Sungji. That I wont argue to you xD. She's trying her best and doing what she could. But, tbh, she actually shows Seju care only after the assassin incident, before that, she actually tried not to care and appeared to be colder than before. Even the day when Sumin was doing her daily life such as working, sleeping, doing her own bathroom business lol, even when she went back to comfort Seju when Seju was back from meeting her family, even when Seju felt happy having Sumin by her side, or even when Sumin felt guilty for hurting Seju, this kind of day would still be counted as her intentionally torturing her ex, no? The longer they kept their toxic relationship, the more Seju could prove her loyalty, and the more Sumin could prove her jerkiness.

The fact that Seju cheating incident was still there, so was the fact that Sumin got scared. They are still there even to this day. It is still be able to hurt Sumin a lot if she gets reminded. It depends on what you define "worse". To me, if they did a proper break up without coming back, a "clean cut", I think its better than dragging that relationship along for 10 years. Seju lives or dies, carrying that guilt or not, could do sth or not, doesnt matter. Strangers with guilt from Seju's side or being each other's sex buddies, which one is better, its your definition xD. But to me, after a clear break up words, coming back after that and making the relationship toxic is worse than being strangers. When you broke up, you broke up. The relationship has been dead the day they said it. So just better make strangers than dragging it without finding real problems, it just adds more pain in it.

Yes, the truth is actually serious as it sounds. Sumin only faced her deepest, darkest thoughts that are she still loved Seju, still cared for her when Nammi knocked some sense into her. However, even in that inner debate, she was still in denial until that image of Seju appeared. What does that mean? Means for 10 years long, to Sumin, its a revenge, she think she masking that care, that love by thinking of it as a revenge. Yes, Sumin admitted she cared for Seju but masking it as a revenge. Does it make them sound nicer? No, why? Cause she would play back and forth between being nice and being cruel. No, scratch that, she was never nice to Seju, even if she cared, she didnt show it, she only showed up to her house when Seju had a family meeting, had sex to make sure she was ok and mentally told her: well, I was here, still here. Care? Did Seju feel cared for from Sumin for 10 years. No, she didnt. That's why Seju was so surprised in the supermarket when Sumin said she's worried. So in Seju's perspective, its not care, its a revenge? Completely, totally. So as a Seju fan, why would we want to feel thankful for that 10 years with Sumin? When Seju herself didnt feel cared, loved or anything? Only a sex buddy and a mindset that she'll come back because she always does and she even wished to be hated more so that the girl would come back? The only thing that should be appreciated for that 10 years is that she is still alive or that she got to be with Sumin so readers can empathy her for that 10 years but isnt that the purpose?

as what they call me a "Seju stan", I stopped thinking about forgiveness long time ago.. their problem is not in that.. but it's actually more complex .. a combination of fear of being hurt again by the person you love the most (trust issues), inferiority complex, insecurity.

Even if Sumin forgave Seju a month after what had happened 10 years ago, they still can't get back together.. so I agree, Sumin's forgiveness is not the focal point at all.
