I'm hoping we get a sad story with this pair. What's nice about this manga is the variety of yuri. I hope we'll reach NTR territory with them. Then reconciliation and healing after.

Also, it's nice to see why Chie was so hostile to Ai in the first chapter.

Just skimmed the raws until 147 so if you're curious, you are getting exactly what you wanted. Shizuka tries to use Ichinose to make Kaoru envious. While in the middle of gloating Kaoru passes out and Shizuka takes her to the infirmary. Kaoru then kisses Shizuka. Shizuka still clings to Ichinose for comfort. Kaoru then forms a crush on the girl in the manga club who wears a medical mask, when Kaoru tells this to Shizuka she gets jealous. Then while arguing in the library Shizuka kisses Kaoru, Ichinose witnesses the whole thing. Personally, Shizuka is just as terrible of a person as Kaoru and can die in a fire for all I care.

But I still want ShizukaxKaoru..they're my fave in the series..I dunno..It might be weird but I usually prefer complicated/toxic relationship than cute and simple one..xD

It's not weird at all. It's actually very normal, even standard, in these times. It is, however, as you say, toxic. Reflection of toxic culture.

I personally found that I liked Kaoru more as the series went on. As far as the translation has come, the reader hasn't gotten to know her beyond the "playgirl" trait, but she becomes more interesting as we learn more about her.

Fucking neato! Also, I'm glad we'll get more of masked girl. The author has some art of her on his pixiv. I also saw he has a girl with Onoda. I'm hoping it gets somewhere.

Onoda definitely has a problem with making really harsh snap judgements of people but it's tempered by the fact that she usually revises them just as quickly rather than stubbornly sticking to them when they're proven wrong.
