as for Gaji comment that she wants to marry Seju:

http://archive.loveisover.me/u/thread/1817402/

At this point I highly suspect that Gaji just wants Seju for them.
They build the perfect waifu for their taste and most importantly gave her no other character to love besides someone who will never get back with her (probably)

ah and MacySan , Sumin was the one who kept giving Seju hope by always coming back to her, and sometimes waiting for her in her home whenever Seju has to visit the main house.. also showing jealousy towards Seju.. let's not forget that sometimes Sumin will make Seju feels like Sumin is still in love with her in the way she looks at her and makes love to her like in ch3.
that false hope participated in making Seju wait and wait forever.. Sumin is aware of that as she tells Sungji in ch77: "it might even be my fault that Seju doesn't have anyone else to rely on"

Yeah and that's why I said that maybe these chapters are actually Seju moving on, since Sumin recognized that she was making Seju cling to her as well.
So now if she stops this behavior, Seju will be more able to let go too.

So because she's been like this for ten years, it means she should never try to change it, and just spend the rest of her life being Sumin's pet?

The author hasnt really given her a super solid reason for trying to change it, has she? It's still only Sumin who she loves and forever loves, who she wants and forever wants, right? She wants Sumin so why should she stop? If there is one other love interest who actually cares for her and loves her and make her realize sth else, then maybe, just maybe, she might think about changing, if not, Sumin will be still her life-saver. There is nothing and no one else for her. She still wants that one thing who is most important in her life And right in the middle of Sumi trying to stay away from her, the author made an attack then give her panic attacks and draw her back to Sumin. Like I said, if the author wants her to move on, they should do it much sooner instead of making her fall deeper in this mess.

Also, I wouldn't be really sure that Team Gaji is setting her up to be forever with them. This involvement with Sumin now could very well be different.
She slowly sees Sumin caring for her again. In the past, she kept on going back for three reasons. One, Sumin was the only person she had and ever loved, and second she was also burdened with guilt for Sumins parents as well as cheating on her. Third, she always knew that Sumin will go back to her, or had hopes for it.

You forgot one most important reason, Seju was back because she's also madly in love with Sumin and how unfortunate, that most important reason is still there, not change one bit. And Sumin showing care for her just makes things go worse. This time Sumin treats her not with hate, but with care, so why shouldnt her hope go higher?

But things with Sungji are different now. She knows this us more serious than Sumin's past gfs.

So? They're not married. Just because with Sungji, it's more serious so she should stop cause she might lose in the end? That's readers' pov, not hers. So why should she stop, again? Its not like they're unbreakable. Nothing is determined just yet. She has to fight until the end. Again, the author doesnt give her a solid reason to stop. In her mind, its just Sumin and Sumin, so she has to fight for that one thing she wants

So in the end she is able to move on from Sumin, because the burden from the past, as well as Sumin's hate is being resolved. Her staying with Sumin now could be repairing the wounds.from the past in order to move on.

You forgot the most important thing again, she still loves Sumin madly and deeply, it's not just about resolving hatred or revenge

I didn't forget that she still loves Sumin. I clearly said

Being in love with someone doesn't mean she still can't move on.

All in all, what I wanna say is, Seju's life is like this, she had nothing meaningful in her life until Sumin came. Sumin is literally the only meaningful in her life, so she sticks to her. So, in order to make her stop and try to change, you have to give her another meaningful in her life, make her realize that there is another thing, too. A pet, nature, beautiful house, even new lover. However, she has to realize it first before trying to move on, not tell her to move on and then said hey, you would find sth meaningful along the way, just go find it, move to usa, new place and go find it in uncertaincy :)

She needs to have another meaningful in her life first, sth that makes her want to change, if not, then I dont think she should stop because that's how she was built, how the author wants her to be

^But it looks like she's fine with how things are right now. Heck, she was even ok with giving Sumin an advice about the scarf, showing her where she messed up her work too. It didn't look like she's plotting anything at all, which felt... weird. But good weird.

Yeah, so, that's exactly why she couldnt stop. Sumin is the only person who is meaningful to her. The one and only. If you want her to move on, give her a reason why. She needs to realize there is other meaningful thing first before making her think about changing. Someone who loves her, a pet, nature or whatever. She's been all alone in her life, then Sumin is that thing who lights up that life so if you wants her to stop following that light, you have to give her another light first. You cant throw her to nowhere, promising that she would find sth new in uncertaincy like pet, therapist or sth. The author didnt give her that, so by logic, why should she stop now when Sumin is the only light in her life? The author has to give her a reason to stop, a meaningful reason, to be exact.

instead of pets, I wonder if Seju ever had a child, that will change her life.. being loved and love another person who depends on her.. a good reason to live and be happy.. awww a little baby girl with pink hair. Sumin can't possibly father the child, sigh~

Funny. It's her life. Are you sure that she does not prefer to be a Sumin's pet to a queen of the world? Got it, she should stop being Sumin's pet and start living as a stray pet for god's sake.

What I imagine happening if Seju ever moves on, is her being implied to move on.
For example, last chapter with Sumin and Sungji and then maybe showing Seju calling her from aboard to check on her as friends.
It will imply that they are on good terms but Seju is finding her own way too.
Doesn't have to actually add the aftermath now, because there is also no time left for chapters.

Got it, she should stop being Sumin's pet and start living as a stray pet for god's sake

Or maybe...she could start living as a human instead of any type of pet?

it is very sad that their most important conversation happened after 10 years, if they only weren't cowards and had it earlier.. they could've been married 9 years ago.. saved themselves and Sumin's 30 GFs the pain
what kind of people are they to be afraid of admitting to each other how they really felt!

For her sake, respect her decision on what kind of life she prefers more.

Lol I'm just saying my opinion of how I'd think the story could/should progress in the scenario that Sumin doesn't want to go back with Seju again.

I'm not forcing anyone to do anything? Remember we are talking about fictional characters in hypothetical scenarios that haven't even happened here...

I don't see Seju as a pet. If anyone is a pet out there, it's Pporonge ^^ and Sumin, but not always. She was played once or twice and that's it.

Seju is an addict and Sumin is her drug. That's how I see it.

Same here. I'm just saying why I dont agree with your opinion, SuminxSungji is a couple or Sumin not go back doesnt mean Seju should stop :). I didnt even say Sumin will go back xD, I just say Seju wont stop. What you said is the easiest way for Seju's ending, that's what you want but I only give out reasons why I dont agree with that xD. That's why I ask you why should she stop now, not by your pov(you know the story is ending and SuminxSungji is more special), but by her pov, didnt the story give her that reason to stop? She still only sees Sumin, and Sungji is another 32nd to go pass, her life hasnt changed, so why should she think of changing?

I'm not forcing anyone to do anything? Remember we are talking about fictional characters in hypothetical scenarios that haven't even happened here...

Yeah, I know that, I dont force you to follow me either but this is a discussion thread xD, we give out opinions and that doesnt mean it has to be the same all the time, that we have to agree with each other all the time. You're giving your hypothetical scenerio, I'm giving my hypothetical reasons based on the story. Yours or mine might be true in the future, who knows, I'm just saying why I dont agree with you, why I dont like it, it doesnt mean my words will be true or it'll happen

I saw a comment about Seju is too perfect xD, if this is what perfect means, then please, by all means, don't ever give me that kind of perfection
- Have only one love but made a mistake that took away that love
- Being used as a sex buddy by her lover for 10 years
- Being kicked away after that ex realized she should move on
- Make one mistake and live with its price for the rest of her life without a second chance
- Shunned by her family members, living with verbal abuse all the time
- A father who loves money and a creepy brother who makes her life suffer more
- Grew up while thinking she's worthless
- All alone in this world
- Her mother got murdered and she's facing the same fate

=> Wow, her life is perfectly tragic =))))), so perfect that I can't think of any other tragic thing to add into her life =)))))).

Have you guys ever wondered why Team Gaji have to build an antagonist with this many details about how tragic her life is? She's just an antagonist, not a protagonist, what's the use of creating a full tragic detailed background on an antagonistic character?

"antagonist vs. protagonist" categorisation is the root of all problems.

I quote Team Gaji in here: "the fox is whoever the reader wish to be. it can be either Sumin, Seongji, Seju, or all three. the story will be different depending on whom you empathise with"
....
I personally find beauty in Seju's imperfections, in a sense that she was a miserable kid with no one to love or receive love from, yet she was able to give all this love and care to Sumin, the flashback in ch2, where she brought a scarf to Sumin and made sure she was eating her meals.. later when they became older, Seju will still bring food to Sumin's home in the morning after her parents' death anniversary because she knows that Sumin won't eat anything that day. ch13
...
if a person comes from a loving household and grew to be considerate = good thing
if a person comes from a sick household and grew to be considerate = even more admirable
...
they created her to have the money, the body and the personality.. alluring and sexy in every way to emphasise that she is in fact able to date and meet other people but she is loyal for her own personal reasons not because she has to.

One a cheater always a cheater...

Sadly people always forget all good things that a person has made compare to one mistake they mistakenly made.....

But you sum up seju perfectly

And yea... The only logical reason for me why the author create this much character development for one " antagonist" is because seju isn't an antagonist... She is the main heroine just like sumin and sungji....

you know, Seju's greatest mistake wasn't that she slept with the bartender, but the fact she never trusted Sumin's love for her enough, which lead to the bartender incident in the first place.

The question is... Did sumin love to seju is really that great?

I don't think so... At least not as great as seju's love to sumin

good question, however, they both have two different personalities and their ways of showing love (and obsession as well).. the thing is, Sumin took Seju for granted, never imagines that she would disappear no matter how she treated her (until she actually got assaulted). you have one person who doesn't want to admit they still loved the other.. and another one who is so sure of what they want and are willing to get it back.
I don't know really who loves the other more, they are different.

I quote Team Gaji again: "up to the moment they broke up, Sumin loved Seju with her heart"

Her love for Seju belongs with the greatest loves. The author said "Up until the day Seju cheated, Sumin loved Seju with all her heart."
