Hmm. I assume people see Sungji's silence as her questioning her relationship with Sumin?
Not the silence, the question Seju dropped.. I attribute it to her intention on making Sungji question her relationship to Sumin..
(that is an assumption.. as I had no other way of understanding Seju's question other than that)
I get you now.

- Seju is still a puzzle @@ when it comes to her actions. The fact that she put up a nonchalant act and hide her real condition, even with Sumin is wierd. She doesnt openly seek for Sumin's comfort and actually she quite respects Sumin's space
a secondary symptom of PTSD is their inability to talk about what happened to them, so this could be an additional reason to why she won't do it, not even to Sumin.
I hate to drop this again on front of you, but I truly see how typical she is to her sign hehehe (sorry again :P)
they could be boiling with intense- extreme emotions inside but will rarely show them.. (fear of rejection, or being seen as weak), also expressing her emotions through physical contact.
(you don't have to believe in astrology, but somehow, characters are written matching them .. don't hate me)
...
I agree with you, yes Sungji surprised me again, this time and in ch55, she is a very stubborn girl and can annoy Seju as much as Seju could annoy her (and make Sumin also do more). However, Seju is still the CEO and somehow could have used that against Sungji.. but she did not.. and Sungji is not scared of that one bit !.. either Seju is not that cruel or Sungji is daring.. or both !!
That's the question I want to know the answer too =)))))), i want to know just how much Sungji loves Sumin? And yes, if you're a normal person, the first thing you do when you get asked this question should be rethink your relationship to be able to confidently say yes, you do =))))) so no doubts Sungji will at least have some thoughts about it, especially its from her love rival
the interesting part now, she does not make her question Sumin's love, but her's to Sumin ! that is the new thing that never happened in ch55 ( or ch27).. now, it has nothing to do with how she believes in Sumin anymore.. but whether their relationship worth it or not.
^ I wonder what the rules are in Korea about dismissals at work? Not that easy to fire someone in the country i live in but you can make their life harder in order to pressure them to resign.
I don't believe in Astrology but your comments have made me think of how Japan uses Blood Type.
Edit: Turns out Korea do blood type as well as well as a similar astrological chart as China.

- I believe it's not vey hard for a Chaepol CEO to kick someone out with any excuse, she even was so light on it in the elevator talk with Sumin ch 57
- I believe Koreans also are obsessed with both of them, and since Team Gaji mentioned that, I assumed they are important.. btw, also they are very true to their blood types: Sumin (A, Cancer), Seju (AB, Scorpio), Sungji (O, Taurus). my guess that Nammi is B

It looks like they have a pretty good employee rights. If this is correct.

Hmm but from what i read they use a similar astrological chart as China? They go by years rather than birth date ranges? But then maybe TG are fans of western Astrology since multiculturalism has allowed for cultures to mix in more.
I haven't really read anything from TG so you might know more than me.

for the above points, someone like Seju, would be able to fire Sungji one way or another.. or even better make her life at office a hell on earth, regardless of the legislations. indeed, she is a chaepol member anyways !
for the last point, I did not have a strong proof, however, felt that each and every girl of them fell under her typical sign and blood type. (could be wrong, but I found them strikingly accurate to them) + year of birth was never mentioned.. only day and month <- Chinese Zodiac is not applicable
disruption of the 3 is in ch 15.5

^ I had to google Chaepol haha. Learn something new everyday.
Interesting. Lezhin doesn't have 15.5 which is the only place i read this, found it elsewhere though.

the Korean one has it, but u will need they annoying google translation
btw, the official translation of ch78 has a much better meaning of Sumin's and Seju's convo,
I believe as Seju was lying down, she reminded Sumin that the house is still hers
Seju: ( I can't even do what I want in my own house)
Sumin: (Did you forget what we discussed )
I think she means the condition in ch 76 (to sell the house for her)
but Seju switched it to the promises.
...
further more,
the table Sumin was thinking about in the morning is actually a TV table, following the context.
...
chapter79 unofficial translation is waaaaay better than 78!

I personally think Sungji is daring and quite scary cause as far as I know, in Korea, respecting superviors seniors is very important, you can not disrespect them or you'll get scolded, and for God's sake, Seju is a CEO, not just a mere supervisor =)))))

Yes, I noticed you talk about zodiac signs a few times already. Its not that I dont believe it ( I do, believe me, since I'm also Asian person) but question is does TG obssess about it to the point of using them for their characters? Go on a little research to create their personalities according to those zodiac? Oh, I dont know anymore XD
If Seju is indeed suffering from PTSD, the author could use it as reason for her crazy acts in the future and make us accept it =)))). Not a very bright future =))))). But I do hope Sumin could find out about this soon, cause Seju needs treatment, PTSD is not a joke
She needs treatment for more than just PTSD. Also someone put up this fact on /u/ which i thought was interesting.
Korea’s suicide rate has remained the highest among Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) nations for 10 consecutive years, with 29.1 people out of every 100,000 having committed suicide
Sounds like either mental health serviced in Korea are not very good or stigma against mental health is high, this could explain why these characters haven't been shown to ask for help.

Sumin has a clue, I think this is what Saehyum meant by saying "this girl needs you you" when Sumin thought it was about her safety, but it turns out that her sanity is endangered as well before she will ever show it.
Sumin is getting there by noticing change in Seju eating behaviour and understanding her being scared at night.
I wonder if Sumin suffered from a PTSD too ..
....
about your question, I think they left many hints in the story,
Sumin not being separated from her mom, her obsession with past memories and the past, her unforgiving and emotional introvert nature.. as well as her liking to antique things like the gift Seju got her from a collector exhibition, very Shy when it came to sex compared to Seju (who is scorpio) and Sungji , her disfavour to distant flights ... the list goes on and onnn a typical Cancer .. I will try not to bore you with it.
guess who is number one best match for a Cancer ! (scorpio and Taurus)

Yeah but with this and how Seju shows symtoms of PTSD, suicide is not that far for Seju's character =))). If talking about mental help other than PTSD, both Seju and Sumin need treatment but I guess the author will overlook this.

I hate to get too medical, but changing the environment is one of the most effective steps in overcoming PTSD, brings me again to Seju's father plan.

In the past Seju has already talked about how she can't literally live without Sumin from what i remember, that itself was a warning sign of suicidal behaviour.
But I'm sorry, I know its bad but why is that when the possibility of Seju killing herself goes higher, I feel relieved? That she can finally free herself from all of her sufferings and troubles? 6 chaps left and here she is, so scared and post-trauma cause of her brothers' deeds. I want to free her from all this and now I even more so lean to a dying ending for her. I'm sorry though :). I want this ending for her, alot now.
Edit: Also for SuminxSungji's sake too, Seju still living means Sumin will never free herself from Seju :). So yeah, it's somehow the best way :)

to get a healing story.. u need to heal !
let's see the ultimate healing in here :D
Suicide isn't healing, it just shifts the suffering to others.

I honestly need source for this, recording of the podcast =))). This is just words we pass to each other =)))). Cause clearly, the author is creating Seju to have that suicidal tendency long before this attack. The ptsd just adds more fuel to this.
Suicide isn't healing, it just shifts the suffering to others.
Yeah, I know but how the heck will they let Seju live when Seju even needs Sumin more after the attack? She now cant even be alone like she used to @@. Even when you put her in a foreign environment, she still needs someone. I'm really trying to find a way for one happy ending for all of them but failed miserably, what about Sungji?. Seriously, I cant get the author at all, creating this scenerio where Seju cant stay alone anymore, that she needs Sumin more. GDI!
If she doesn't have a good ending, then i would be very disappointed. She is a very beautiful caharacter, and it would be a waste if team gaji will just trample her character and degrade her. Such a waste
You know, even after arc 2, even when she used the worst way to break SuminxSungji, I still root for her, cause I sympathized her, alot, one of the biggest reasons why I love her character, I've hoped the author would do sth for her happiness after degraded her that much but after this chap, I guess her character is just simply used to be stepped on like that and well, at this point, I do wonder if the author even really wants to give Seju a fair ending?
After this chap, I can surely say Seju's happy ending will be with Sumin, there is no other way, her without Sumin is just never a happy ending for her. But the question is, do I even have the heart to break SuminxSungji? When Sungji is like that? I might not like her character but she deserves happiness, at least deserves it even more than Seju. If one of the two could have Sumin, who would you let her have that happiness? Even when I love Seju alot, I cant choose her and ignore Sungji, I just cant. So what kind of happy ending could we possibly offer Seju after this chap, after the realisation that she's nothing without Sumin? Suddenly, I feel death is not a bad ending for Seju
You use "deserve" quiete a lot of times... but I think in reality.... people get their happiness not because they deserved it... sometimes because they're giving effort to reach for happiness.
I see people around me who deserved of being happy, but they don't get it. And many corrupt people who don't deserve it, yet get what they want.... it's life.
