And I finally got around to finishing Highway Blossoms.

Liked it, was somewhat refreshingly different, it being a western-made Yuri VN,

So i was playing 'Nurse Love Addiction'.

And in the end, i was like "D-did....that...just happened?! O.o"

Such unexpected plot twists! In both shocking and good way!!!!! This fluffy and cute novel is more than it seems!

And the well placed choices and pairing and endings makes it all the more sweet!

Some people might find it costly being $40. But if you ask me, it's one of the best and unique yuri visual novel ever! And would buy it! (Ofc it's up to you :P)

9/10 for this amazing novel.

So i went for the different pairing in 'Nurse Love Addiction' this time.

And i was really happy to see how each route is different from each other.

What I was sad about that if i choose one pairing, the others really suffers consequences badly esp. one who with most nteresting character :'(

Anways, i'm glad i was able to play this game .

Been playing the For Honor closed beta, game takes a while to get the hang of.
But so far really solid and with a pretty high skill ceiling it seems.

I mean does this includes special skills or powers like Skyrim and Fallout or it has limited stamina bar with no special attacks like Dark Souls?

Has a stamina bar, but it's more like a fight game than dark souls, much slower than a fighting game tho. Combos, directional attacks/blocking/parry/guard breaks.

People comparing it to dark souls simply because its middle ages setting and slow combat, when mechanically its very different.

Personally, I might buy it... to play with friends/casual, and maybe forget about it a month later. It's leaning too much into the fighting game side, I have no interest on learning mechanics, don't like these kinds of games.

Tried this one out. And feel really mixed

The art is awesome. The plot and pace is fairly decent-> good. But this game make me realising how important archetype are.

The tone and use of words from one character are sometime just so conficted against her background and design. The main character for example who potrayed to be totally meek and sheltered, can tell people to shut up, or being playful with her teasing out of the blue. She also can active at time and passive at others. Made her (and other characters in the game) feel very inconsistent

I also have a bit problem with the game try to apply some (Japanese) manga and anme trope and tone while set in a sorta-Western~ish setting. Make me feel like reading a manga at time, and a youth Western novel at another

Love Ribbons was fairly standard for OELVNs (Original English Language Visual Novel) of this price range. Pacing got iffy near the end. The lack of the clear cut archetype is always welcome, since they just show different sides of a character and consequently make them a bit more realistic; never felt the inconsistency any time I encounter these kinds of characters which I note are expectedly more prominent in OELVNs.

Same goes for that last statement - that's also prominent in OELVNs, especially if you've played games along the lines of Starlight Vega or those from lemmasoft forums or the Yuri Game Jam.

I definitely recommend it for its price range. Toss it into the pile of the good OELVNs that don't have problematic content unlike 'Seduce Me 2' and 'Rising Angels: Hope'. At the very least, it's much better than the last project Razz was involved in: 'Catch Canvas'.

Overall, the more you play visual novels from both the west and the east the more you'll be able to tell the pretty clear differences between the two. I think one of the most consistent differences I've noticed is that no matter how good the localization team is, you can easily still tell when one is originally in English or when it's been translated. Unsurprisingly, translated Japanese script just doesn't flow as well as it could have if the script or dialogue was originally written in English.

Ebi-hime's wonderful Once On a Windswept Night is up on Steam! I came here not only to plug it but also... to ask for help. Cause I need it. I thought I finished it three months ago when I got the true ending, but then I saw the achievements and it was like... "AGH, THERE'S SO MUCH I MISSED! SO MUCH!" So, yeah, any help would be much appreciated!

So Nights of Azure and Atelier Sophie are out on PC 30 minutes ago according to Steam's twitter account. If anybody actually bothers to play the PC version, please do tell if the port is actually fairly decent. (and by decent it should be at least 60 fps with proper resolution options)

It's great. Great art, great writing, great characters, great ending; it's an absolute steal for just 3 bucks.
