I don't like reading tragedies, even when they end as beautifully as this, because it hurts man
But I dont regret it, it was very nice
The bonding between characters, like this, is so important :')
Just recognised the art, stalked the artist's pixiv and realise it's the person who made Kanamewo, the short about a girl and a tree spirit (confirmed it by identifying art that was used in other videos of same youtube account)
They sure like bonds between people/girls with a tragic setting/ending

Thanks for mentioning it, that was a really good short which seemed like it could have come straight from a Ghibli movie. I wonder if the spirit was still alive, in some way, at the end of the movie.
Beautifully done, this one remains an old favorite of mine. This really is a good tragedy (kind of an oxymoron here..) although the art could have been nicer, the story itself really is beautiful.
On a side note, I find the supernatural tag quite unfitting here, I'd suggest to replace it with the alternate reality one.

"Minus" was the name of the webcomic, and also the name of the main character (the girl with the baseball bat in the last panel of the comic linked above).

And in turn, that strip seemed to be a reference to FLCL.

I agree that the alternate reality tag is fitting, but I don't see why it should replace supernatural. They are not mutually exclusive and both tags describe different elements of this manga. The whole afterlife thing is definitely supernatural.
