Ok so, you're learning French. Isn't that pretty harsh given that almost everything in Montreal is primarily French? (There's a lot of bilingual/English versions of stuff, but I don't need it/rely on it, so I don't notice what isn't in English) Unless that you mean that you're learning and gotten a good deal of it down at this point. I was incredibly naive at the time since even though I knew it was an eroge, I thought that "Surely it can't be porn, it's probably some completely normal sex scene that isn't meant to titillate the player but instead has some purpose to the plot as to why it's being explicitly shown. After all, Fate/Zero was pretty mature." Ahh, I was so wrong, so very wrong.

I should've known the writer of Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night are completely different too.

This is literally what happened to me if you liked Zero you should read Fate/Apocrya it's very interesting and reminds me of zero

Well, I've got original-language scans Spirou 1-50 and several volumes of Sillage, plus physical volumes of some Spirou stuff after that, some Pierre Alary stuff, Nävis, and a couple of random things I picked up here and there.

I do have a couple of translated volumes of Spirou and did a probably terrible fan translation of one volume of Nävis. But that's about it.

Didn't think I'd ever see people talking about french BD here. If you like french/belgium BD, I'd strongly recommend to read Gaston Lagaffe and Le Chat. I'd also recommend les Schtroumpfs (IIRC, in english it's called smurfs), Tintin, Black & Mortimer (the classics), Titeuf, Kid Paddle, the Soleil edition ones and countless others.

My mom having a collection of something like 5000 BD, with many first edition that are nowadays worth hundreds of euros, I'm kind of familiar with this.

Also, public holiday today in France, which means a 3days weekend. I'm happy.
Although it's also kind of an important day for german too, I doubt it's publich Holiday in Germany^^

Some pretty scary stuff you experienced there. My sleep schedule is somewhat erratic, sometimes I sleep more sometimes less. Can't say it exceeds 4 hrs though...

Wasn't really scary. But it was pretty reckless, I guess...
Young folks usually do some reckless stuff... For me it was sleep deprivation. But on the other hand... I never drank any alcohol or took any drugs... So I was still pretty boring in that regard ^^
And tired most of the time ;)

one reason why I took the job is because of the night shifts - it might be silly, but it's a way to prove to myself I can be productive at night xD you know my habit of falling asleep early while watching a movie xD

It was quite a while ago – so sorry for the extremely late reply (^_^“) - but I remember reading that you finished watching Transparent and thought the family was messy...

I agree with you and that's also the only complaint I've got about that show – too much chaos for one single family. And the kids are so unlikable... all of them! But I really like Maura and her entire story. Especially the quiet moments...
Seeing that you didn't stop after the first season you must have liked it as well...? Or not...? ;)
I'm currently watching season 3...

In the meantime I've also finished watching Sense8 a few days ago.
It was pretty good. Maybe a little corny here and there but still quite good.
My favorite was the Korean girl. She was awesome! ^^
Probably gonna watch the second season too when it'll come out.
