I think the nice thing about this one is that it doesn't really rely on the "twist", particularly when it comes so early. It's more a pair of vignettes into a couple's love life, so it's more about mood than plot per se.

de Sade is, uh... A unique one? A lot of his libertine views on sexuality are quite disturbed, I think, and not necessarily indicative of "proper" BDSM. A lot of very graphic depictions of pedophilia and rape, whereas the BDSM scene as I've understood it is heavily based on clear consent and at no point has any relation to those two things.

More "torture porn" than genuine porn, I think.

Maybe it's because of some fucked doujin I've read I was expecting something worse.

Somehow even if the story is nonsense Takemiya always gets the mood. Unneeded drama, dislike and hate. Very unhealthy emotions but that makes it interesting and forms the works overall tone.

Nice story, but feels a little short to me. Could have been about 20 more pages with more about their relation

I see it just as dirty unhealthy emotionless porn, nothing more.
