I hear that Squirrels love sunflower seeds so it might have been them who dug them up. My neighbor plants them every year and puts a wire mesh around them until they sprout.

Not in the same context. HMM since my family comes from different places around South and Central America I can think of like three different words for the way you use "Chaval" its actually kinda funny.

I've tried grilled pineapple but now I need to try this other grilled stuff XD

With the plantains don't peel them. The peel will start to crack when they are ready. I like them extra sweet so I leave them on a bit longer.

YOOO FROZEN FRUITS ARE AWESOME!

Here's my personal list:
Bananas sometimes I melt chocolate and sprinkle sea salt on them so f-ing bomb! XD mouth is watering just thinking about them
Green grapes- best summer snack
Watermelon dipped in chocolate or just plain.

Also hey everyone. Saw something about fruit and couldn't help but go. Lol
We weren't allowed to have Popsicles growing up so my grandma would freeze pretty much any fruit.

Ohh try buying mangos and blending them and then adding coconut shavings so delicious

And to answer Ceph question a few pages back im not from Spain; one of my ex's was Spanish and used that phrase quite a bit. Im half Columbian and Salvadorian born in Chile XD so Spanish speaker.

Yes I personally feel like the whole thing was unnecessary. Like who cares, it's truly sad that anyone would go out of their way to create fake accounts just to try and publicly shame someone else out on "creating a fake account/s." It's just ridiculous and sad how far people went to hurt publicly the image of another person; it's like was that really hurting you that much you took the time to also make a different account?
In the end nothing can be proven so it's truly silly drama.
Anyway enough of that. I'm more so annoyed that's what it took for new people to join in. Smh
For those who joined in and are really actually trying to bring something positive to the thread then welcome.

Yea I'm down for people joining the thread but def. don't want to change the name or whatever. I just don't think that's important, I think we have created a space where we can discuss anything and support each other as best as we can. People drop by and check in as often as their lives allow and it's chill. I think that's why people who have recently joined in wanted to in the first place, so I don't really see a need to go starting a whole new thing when it's here already.

But I could be wrong. Lol
Anyhow I like having random discussions about anything, and have really enjoyed getting to know people so there really isn't any need for me (and that's an I statement) to change anything about this forum but understand other people have their own needs. Im just going to continue doing my thing on this thread, and hopefully other people join in cause its always nice to have a party XD and its not like we are exclusive. so just drop by when ever u can.

She was, yeah. But seeing how we shared a room with her ex Jenny and her brother Leo, two people I have tons of respect for, there's no way how I would've let her "put me to sleep." ;D I'm just glad I'm not the one having to drive right now. -.- And since Leo is a driving instructor, I can just relax since my baby is in good hands and try to doze off a bit once we get to the autobahn.

just came home from getting my ass handed to me in jiu jitsu -___- everything hurts. Its my 7th class and its only getting better. XD

Ah, the joy of martial arts training. Embrace the pain. It'll only make you tougher, physically as well as mentally. ;D Even though it might not be needed that much mentally in the case of jiu jitsu since it's more of a defense art, but anyway. Few more weeks and you'll get up after taking a hit like nothing even happened. ^^

You know the mental aspect is actually pretty big, its important to keep a sharp mind while being pinned down. XD

well i used to box growing up but quit that cause Futbol (soccer as they call it in the states) kind of took over my life, then In college I picked up Kickboxing and really loved that because its like the best of both worlds. I kinda picked up Jiu jitsu because I like the idea that getting knocked to the ground is not the end of the fight. I wanted to know how to maneuver on my back, understanding the physics to use angles and speed versus brute strength and, most importantly, understanding that you DO have options that can turn the tide in your favor if you are alert and willing to take advantage of any opportunities that present themselves, can literally mean the difference between surviving and being killed if it comes down to a life-and-death situation. I highly recommend it XD the Academy i go to is mostly male dominated but I honestly think more women should be practicing the sport cause the self defense benefits are so worth it.
