Looking at it that way, you could really justify a deep bond between them, something neither of them share with anyone else. It's a pity there aren't very many doujins that really get into that feeling.

Yaaaaaasssss, more Nico x Nozomi! One of my favorite pairings for some reason! I do have to agree with the author's note that this was more of a friendship story than a yuri story, but it seems that there are more NicoNozo doujins coming up, right? At least that's what the author said. I'm looking forward to it!

This reminds me of Kyouko x Mami and Sayaka x Kyoko
When it's MakiNico it's sort of tsundere childish fun like Sayaka x Kyoko. But when it's with NozoNico it feels more mature like Kyouko x Mami. Yes there's only one dojin of them but still.

See? This is what this pairing is all about. Two close friends who deeply love and care for each other, without it necessarily meaning they are in love. Something like Sayaka's and Madoka's friendship and love for each other.

This is actually really sweet. I have a very soft spot for this pairing and this doujin in particular hints to a few problems for the ship, to be honest. The whole pairing off with their 'true ships', for one. Nico will always go to Maki and Nozomi will always go to Eli. Thankfully they broke that stereotype by the end. In the anime, Nozomi mentioned that she couldn't help Nico (with that flashback of her and Eli looking at a busy Nico handing out flyers in the rain), but thankfully this doujin rectified that.

On another note, I find the HonoRin pair to be so cute and loveable. If only, ay?
