Red head: [ However staying next to someone like Sumin-ssi is such a waste of a girl like you ]
[ Sometimes it feels like you’re still in love with me. ]
[You’re right.]If Sumin keeps having this kinds of thought, I think she will go back to Seju.
I don't want Sungji to get hurt. It would be so unfair for her. I believe Team Gaji won't write such unfair story. That's why I can't guess what will happen next.
I think no matter what Sungji will get hurt. love is not just about sunshine and rainbow. it's unfair but it's bound to happen. if I was Sumin. I would go crazy thinking on who will I choose lol. I could still remember when Sumin said that she was regretfully Sungji's first love.

And even if it's a romantic love, it doesn't exclude the possibility that Sumin will also love Sungji, maybe choosing the last in the end. You can love someone dearly and still have a long lasting and fulfilling relationship with someone else (at least in my opinion xD)
I think it's a bit unfairfor the person you're in relationship with though. Well, maybe if they know and agree it's ok. But not sure if Sumin would go to Sungji and tell her that she still loves Seju but wants to stay with her.
These situations alays feel like a rebound to me, and Sungji hasn't done anything wrong to be the rebound. Also, Sungji's position now is difficult. I honestly feel bad for her, because Sumin carries a lot of baggage, and if they stay together, there is apossibility that not only Sumin won't heal, but Sungji will get hurt too.
So far Sumin has been hiding a lot from her. I just feel like it would be too much for Sungji to handle.
At least Sumin has to completely solve her mess out before moving on. Good thing is, she has finally aknowledged it, which is the first step.I get what you mean, MacySan. It's just that to me it doesn't necessarily means the person you get to be with is a rebound. Like sometimes there is someone you love but things just don't work out and even if you move on, there will always be that lingering feeling in the back of your head. Some people can let it there, as a dear memory or something. They won't go after that past lover or even wish to be with them, since you have someone else in your life that you also love. But I understand this concept is very personal. I will sink with Team Pink if needed, so I'm actually happy that Sumin acknowledged it xD
I was going to respond to but Azai pretty much covered what I was going to say. Minus the Team Pink bit. I think first love (first big love) is one of those things that stays with you forever (a theme that I like about the manhwa), and that you can grow to appreciate them and your past relationship even if you don't want the person back in your life in a romantic way. Going to slink away before this post gets any more biographical. Damn this chapter.

I also think Sungji will get hurt. But that may actually be the development in Sumin and Sungji relationship that is needed to make them a sturdy couple.

right now. we don't really know. Sumin just admitted that she still has feelings for Seju. how will Sumin interact with Sungji again after this? she might break it off with Sungji as not to be unfair with her.

Lol #TeamShameless is on a small hiatus xP
There is a fine line between aknowledging the moments you spend with a person and that what you felt at that tme was real, versus still being in love with them, but because you know you won't be able to be together, consciously making an efford to move on to another person.
Remembering the good moments and choosing to not be bitter about it, thus that person still holding a spot in your heart because they used to be a part of your life, is actually moving on. But in Sumin's situation, right now, this doesn't seem the case.
I think she is able to move on from Seju and be in a healthy relationship with Sungji, but not in this moment. She admitted she is still in love with her. Not just simply love her as a person that was part of her life.

Seems fair enough.

I think what she admitted is neither of those two. She admitted that it feels like she still loves her; it feels like it, but that might not be exactly it. It feels like she still loves her because she still cares about who she's with; she still doesn't want to lose her; she still wants her to be there for her, etc... Sumin realizes that she does have some lingering feelings for Seju but saying that she is in love might be going a bit too far. Their relationship is extremely broken for her to be in love. I hope she wakes up and realizes that her love is Sungji and that she shouldn't hurt her by being stupid -.-

I agree. But I'm still waiting for the development to see what kind of love Sumin has for Seju for sure. I hope it's like you said - Sumin still in love with Seju. But the translation we have so far is " Sometimes it feels like you’re still in love with me", which is a bit ambiguous.

I know, it sounded impossible to me too for Sumin to still be in love with Seju, but it's pretty clear what she said.
Seju said "If feels like you are still in love with me"
And then Sumin thought "You are right" "What you say is right"
Of course this doesn't mean she can't love Sungji more, or realise later that this is different. But for now this seems to be the case inside her head

Nooo. MacySan, you will get my hopes up like this. xD
Nah, this doesn't mean they will end up together. I just think that the phrasing in the end was pretty clear of what Sumin meant. Not ambiguous or room for a different interpretion, unless the translation was wrong, or Gaji is trying to mislead us and they change and strech it differently on the next chapter.
But right now, this is clear.

she may be referring to being in love with Seju or to it feeling like she is -> acting like she's still in love however not being sure if she is or not thus being so upset and confused... I mean if she's still in love with Seju does this means she loves both Sungji and Seju at the same time? if so who does she love more?
"Sometimes it feels like you’re still in love with me"
Seju said that line in either chapter 2 or 3, when she was having sex with Sumin. But that time Sumin only replied her with "Baek Seju, don't use my perfume". But this time Sumin agrees with that statement, that she is still in love with Seju. But Sumin realising that doesn't mean that SuminxSeju will be the end game. There's no way team Gaji's going just toss Sungji aside like she doesn't matter. Who knows what'll hapen next.
Trying not to keep my hopes up #teampink

I still think there's a possibility that Sumin is confused and mistakes her mixed feelings with being in love with Seju, even though I really prefer to believe that, yeah, Sumin is still in love with Seju. Honestly, I tend to avoid holding on to a single interpretation, cause I think it's fun to see all the possibilities. I can be wrong, but it's my way of seeing things :)

I think the fact that the authors chose the phrasing "in love" instead of simple "love" that could be interpreted with different ways was not a mistake. Isn't thinking that you are in love with someone, actualy being in love with them? xD At least at that moment you think of it. I'm saying this objectively, teams aside. Of course there is a possibility that she's confused, but if we consider their pasts and how she's being acting during these years, her failed relationships and how she was always coming back to Seju, the possibilitt she actually means it are quite high imo.
When Sumin will finally let her cards open on the table with Sungji, this is when she will start noticing the difference between her feelings for Sungji and Seju. This was necessary to happen imo, because it would be bad writing if they simply had Sungji heal Sumin without Sumin going through a self awareness phase first. We just have to be patient to find out eventually xD
I still have no idea why I thoroughly read this every week, even if this whole manhwa (and not just TeamPink) sails dangerously close to the Vermuda Triangle (no pun intended. Seriously no triangle ending pls)

This. We have come to an agreement. (Sorry if I seemed offensive somehow. I just really like to live in possibilities xD)
I still don't believe Sumin will go back to Seju. I think Sumin will choose to not hurt Sungji because Sumin herself experienced that toxic first love, so she just can't ruin someone's else first love.
I'm not aiming for TeamPink endgame. I just want a best writing.
Bermuda Triangle
That's what I was considering as the most interesting topic when I was 8 or 9, I think.

seriously guys, who do you think should end up with Sumin? cause honestly I can't decide. Team Gaji really did a good job making the readers sympathize for both Seju and Sungji. I always thought Seju would go with the psycho ex route but nope. she ended up one of the characters you can relate to.

Oh no, there was nothing wrong with what you said, no worries xD It's always good to discuss every different possibility. One of them gotta be the right too lol

OMG that comparison!! O_O
Um, we'd need to ask Newp about about "love" vs "in love" I think but even so just saying she loves Seju wouldn't be the case because Sumin has little reason to love Seju if it's not romantically... What I mean is that being in love is something very deep and strong which was destroyed for Sumin a long time ago. I mean that Sumin could be saying "yes, you are right, it feels like I'm still in love". As you say it's very likely that she is since she says she feels it but she kind of seems confused in general. I wouldn't say she is/has been in love with Seju all this time; she has lingering feelings of being on love that are confusing... sometimes you can think you are in love when you feel weird things like she is I think but then you realize that's not actually love but just a sort of unhealthy obsession.
I have never wanted Seju to turn into psycho. It is really not solely because I'm on TeamPink. When seeing Seju seemed to be turning psycho, I was like "Oh, no, the author doesn't put much effort into making a better story than others'." I was thinking Gaji was just like other authors using such a method to make readers give up on Seju, to make it clear that she had never deserved ending up with Sumin or having a happy ending. Even now the Seju's character development becomes inconsistent, but I would say the story really becomes better than before. It's never fun to read somethings that is so predictable!
I don't think the third arc is all about Sungji. Everyone still seems to need more character development.
Next chapter, I guess, Sungji will go to Sumin's house. Sumin is in a mess, she acts cold towards Sungji. She tells Sungji "It's something you don't need to know." TeamBlonde, you guys are better to just skip reading the next chapter. XD
-.- Sungji is not gonna just stand there and hear that.
And if the third arc is not going to be about Sungji too which one is? I mean she had been around since the beginning but she's the character who needs more development; until now it has been Sumin and then Seju development. The fact that Sumin is likely to be cold to Sungji means Sungji is going to have some sort of reaction. Sumin isn't just going to leave her and go live happily ever after with Seju.
Thanx for the trans Newp ...!
This chapter made me feel really bad for sumin ..i mean i was just complaining a few chapters ago about how selfish and stupid sumin can be towards seju ..but this chapter changed everyting!!!
the fact that sumin was always in love with seju and kept compairing her with every woman she meet and breaking with them just as an excuse to go and see seju is actually kinda so sad ... and to think sumin was so worried about seju and went back to her even after she cheated and beatin up is pretty insane they were both so dameged but still in love with each other ..ugh ..i really don't know were team gaji is headed... every character is so well portrayed and i want every one to have a proper ending
Is it team blonde, team pink ??! ..sigh ....idk its uncomfortable for us too :*

Last time with readhead, she did accept Sumin's cold shoulder though. Maybe this time there will be small change as they have become much closer. Anyway, if you expect much from Sumin, you are likely going to be disappointed! When she is angry, she yells like a psycho, everyone has to stay silently and listen to her crap.
Yes, the third arc must be about Sungji too, but not only her since we could see now Team Gaji seems to plan on making the story unpredictable. I would guess that Team Gaji would give everyone an equal character development, including Nami too.
I really miss readhead. I think she is a character that can go into the play. She is the only character we've known thus far that could make Seju taken those cruel actions to get rid of her.

we can still relate to Sumin. I mean Seju cheated on her after her parents died. both situations must have been devastating for her. (and that ring still hasn't been explain)
Sumin x Seju is really twisted. Seju did admitted that she wished Sumin would never be happy with another woman so, that Sumin can't move on from her while Sumin doesn't want Seju to be with someone else other than her. you can feel Sumin's hatred towards Seju when she's talking down to her about the scandal issue. "it's not like the first time you have slept with someone else" and the "did you like it?" that's jealousy. she can't bear to see Seju with someone else meaning Sumin still really love Seju. both of them doesn't want the other to end up happily with another woman. though Seju is being passive about it while Sumin is being aggressive.
