I'd just like to point out, if it hasn't already that Dragons Dogma can have a yuri ending, just make your character and main pawn female and then at the end of the game you'll have a scene with the NPC you interacted with the most, so fair warning to be careful how much you interact with the NPCs.

I just started reading Olive Oil and White Bread by her. Gotta say, first couple of chapters haven't really grabbed me.

I didn't read that one, it didn't sound good. A little bit of spice and Zero visiblity (I think) are my favourites.

I just watched Aimee & Jaguar movie and it’s a good film. I recommend the film to anyone that hasn't seen it. The acting of the two main actresses is brilliant. It’s an underrated movie that you hardly hear about. The film is in Germany but there are streaming sites that have English subtitles on them.

I'm not a fan of them tbh, I was just going through some of their yuri fanservice stuff so I really don't know if their show is worth watching but it does seem like they do a lot of fanservice there's even girls kissing each other in their PVs and for what I've seen the girls are always being lovey-dovey.

The way I counteracted the sad ending was to watch Imagine me and you. I am whole again now.

Finished reading 'Guard me' by Geonn Cannon, the writing and pacing are good, but it's kinda bad. To me it felt like the MC being a lesbian was an afterthought. That maybe a little too much to say but don't really know how to describe it. At first I kind of liked the MC, but as the book went on, I started to dislike her more and more. There's not really romance, and when it ends it feels like it's the first book in a series.

For anyone who wants to give it a go and wants me to spoil before reading it I will. Though at that point it could read like a review so, tell me how much you want spoiled.

Finished reading 'Popcorn Love' by K.L. Hughes, and yet another that has absolutely no angst/drama (unless you count a few instances where one of the characters gets insecure, but they are immediately quashed so). It's a sweet and sappy book through and through. I highly recommend it to those who want a smooth and happy romance. The only negative thing is that some phrases were repeated too much, otherwise a very nicely written book. Around 110k words.

I watched But I'm a Cheerleader yesterday. It was really silly and cute. It made me think of a 50s sitcom.

I watched the AKBingo show and have to admit it got me interested in the culture of Idols and the group AKB48 in general. AKB48 is an interesting group as there is so much to learn about it. The show made me fall in love with the first generation of AKB48 because of their interesting personality.

It’s wired how these girls when they sign a contract have a love ban on them. This means that they are not allowed to date any men at all. If they get caught they can get fired or demoted. What's interesting here is that because of the love ban placed on these girls who are anything from 11-28 years old, some of the girls turn to other girls for affection and romance. The episode 370 of AKBingo shows a game called lovey dovey-san. There is "two lesbian" Idol couple who tell the public how they met and when there first kiss was. One of the couples has been going out for 2 years and even the fans call them a couple because of how close they are and the pictures they take. It's almost like they are "okay" with these girls going out with each other. But, the general consensus is that it’s just a phase for these girls who can't have boyfriend. In my opinion though some of these girls are actually gay, of course it’s based on my gaydar and my judgement on what they say and how they interact with other girls.

What I’m saying is that even though Japan is very conservative country they are indirectly promoting that it’s okay for girls to have crushes and go out with other girls as long it’s just a phase when your young. The whole situation is bizarre to me as Japan is very conservative about sexuality in general. It’s stupid to restrict girls even if they are an Idol they should be allowed to have boyfriends if they desire to do so. I just thought it was an interesting topic relating to yuri in other media.

On a side note, I do like two of the songs by AKB48 which is River and Heavy Rotation.

It isn't actually that weird. The idols are suppose to be pure girls so if they would have boyfriends and it would be even commonly know, the whole "being pure" idea would destroyed, because anyone could easily conclude that at some point they had sex hence she isn't virgin anymore. Remember that japan has a lot devoted (obsessive) fans that can devote their entire life to such things. It is part of Japanese's escapism. Not to mention some psychos that could get it into next level (if she had sex with a guy it means she is a slut and I can fuck her too). So ban on love is mostly in order to secure that pure image in order to get as much profit from idols as possible. In short, being a idol most of the time suck.

Idol are things, object to fan's fantasies. They can't date men because that would inconvenience fan's fantasies, they can "date" women because that stimulate fan's fantasies. They are here to help dirty old man jerk off. And in the end they are supposed to go back to being straight when they graduate.

Honestly, the Idol thing personally disgust me. I joke and laugh about it when I see MV like Heavy rotation or the "scandals" about them but deep down it disgust me. I'm sure real fans not here for the sexual object do exist (though I don't understand them) but in the end that's what they are supposed to be sexual object.

Both of you make good points (Nevri and trafi) but I’m going to give the example of the Idol of Minegishi Minami. She got caught having a boyfriend and got demoted. But now she is the captain of Team K and is the member of the band No Sleeves. She is actually popular despite being got up in the scandal in 2013. The fans actually defended her saying that she is entitled to have a normal life. If the fans never defended her she wouldn't be popular still which means that the ban is stupid. The only people that think Idols can't date are minority of fans (obsessive low life fans) and the creators of AKB48 themselves that is really the stupid thing. The general public actually support the girls.

I don't agree with Idols having a pure girl image. If they were meant to have a pure image they wouldn't over sexualise the girls and make them do photo shoots with bikinis. I hate the MV for heavy rotation, I just like the song.

The 100 is coming back strong. F all the spoilers, I managed to avoid them and will continue to. but some good things are happening/not happening for the Clexa ship. Bellamy appears to be cockblocking their future relationship development though.

The ship war is strong with this one.
