I think that was about Regina and Robin, they are together now (sadly). Their chemistry is pretty boring.

But no matter what happens on ouat, Regina and Emma's relationship is always relevant, so there are a bunch of good moments for them.

Didn't everyone have one though? I recall Emma also having a one true love.

If they are each other's whatever it was, it'll be nice, but I have a feeling that they're doing it just for the ratings and stuff.

Pretty sure they're doing it so the Regina X Emma shippers don't stop watching.

I hope they will kill Hook, Robin will die in this fight (but not in heroic way, he can't be the one who will kill Hook) or he will leave Storybrook with his daughter for her safety or sth so Regina will be single. Emma is already single (but we need Hook's death just for sure) so... :>

I'm also curious about midseason finale because title is Swan Song so maybe Emma will die AND Regina will decide to rescue her, so they will go to Underworld to save Emma's soul/etc. and they will bring her back. And I can be kinda right because as far I know, in season 5B we will have Hercules and Megara sooooo Storybrook team can visit Hades :>

I doubt they'll kill off either of them. But I'm definitely excited about the rest. But I still hope you're right, I'm so sick of Emma being thrown into a relationship every single season. Leave her be.

Seems like the shippers like her and Aurora? Image search is a bit of a mess though.

Yes, because Mulan fell in love with her in the show but Aurora was pregnant when Mulan was about to confess. It was heartbreaking honestly.

I see. I stopped watching after the first season I think. The whole premise started to wear on me and wanted the curse to be broken so they could move on to other things lol. I might just skip up to Mulan though...

Season 2 is totally worth it for those two imo, and the first 3 episodes of season 3.

...
I started once upon a time, Root's actress is in one episode. As soon as I see her smile, I can't help but think she's gonna turn psycho and that everything she says must have twisted overtone. But I don't think she will in this series...

After Person of interest, I can't unsee how psycho looking she is (well when she's not in a pink fairy dress at least)

I guess it hasn't been mentioned but, Senran Kagura (Vita game) is coming to PC next year.

Also a new Neptunia game titled - Hyperdimension Neptunia U Action Unleashed that is supposedly a cross between Dynasty Warriors and the Senran Kagura Vita game. Also a Noire spin-off SRPG game titled - Hyperdevotion Noire Goddess Black Heart (though I think there you were a male protag, I'm not sure)

And Monster Monpiece is also coming to Steam next year. This one is a card trading game sorta, where you 'rub' the monster girls to tame them or something. Female protagonist.

I'm reading Something in the Wine right now and I really like it. I also like how some of the reviews I've read complained about there not being hot lesbian sex even though that clearly wouldn't have worked in the story.

Also totally low key shipping Drew with her ex.

Really? I guess you haven't gotten to the point how pushy she is and doesn't take no for an answer. Until one point of course.

When does that happen? I'm already more than half through the story, 90 pages left.

It's more or less the final confrontation after they're already together I think (Annie and Drew, not Drew and the ex). But yeah, the way she comes on to her is not really appealing.

Okay, I just got to that scene. Coming on to Drew while she's on a date with Annie is definitely pretty questionable.

That's nice information, if even to stay away from it

Yeah, I also don't like pushy people. Unless of course it's one of the MCs, but I'm a hypocrite like that ;)

I just finished Departure From the Script by Jae, and I highly recommend it for someone who wants a sweet romance with absolutely no angst or drama. It's a really fun book.

Haha, yeah, she was pushy but I was thinking that if she was the MC and we didn't have constant reminders that Drew is way not into her, everybody would have rooted for her.

Something in the Wine has a short sequel, Seduction for Beginners. Seems like the author heard the complaints about the main story lacking sex scenes.

Kira%202

Which are still stupid complaints.

And not like the sex scene is gonna be that different from any other lesbian romance novel. Kissing, ear lobes, neck, boobs, vagina, orgasm. Repeat 6 times in varying positions. Repeat 6 times the next morning.

I mostly just skim through them most of the time, it was actually kinda refreshing that there wasn't one in Something in The Wine. I like impactful sex scenes but other than that, they're kinda boring after a while.

Basically. Even when the buildup is good and there's some important emotional stuff before the sex scene, once they start fucking in earnest it's like every other sex scene you've ever read. There's rarely an attempt to fit the characters' personalities and quirks into the scene.

I can't remember the title at the moment, but there was one book where the first time the characters tried to have sex, they had to stop because they kept accidentally hitting each other and bumping into stuff. It was hilariously awkward. I dunno, I find that kind of scene way more memorable and earnest than the usual generic fingerbanging.

Yeah, the only books I can think of that made the personalities part of the sex scenes were Tats and Tats Too, which I'm totally gonna reread now by the way. They're also the only sex scenes I can remember anything about other than the general course of action.

If you remember the name of the book, I'd be really thankful for a title. :)

Found it- Rebecca's Cove by LJ Maas. I don't remember much about the rest of the book however. I think that almost-sex scene may have been the best thing about it...

Also, if you like Layce Gardner's works, have you tried reading some stuff by her partner, Saxon Bennett? They seem to have a similar sense of humor. The trilogy that starts with Family Affair is pretty funny, but focuses more on family life than romance.

Thanks, I'll put tht on my list.

I think I started Talk of the Town a while back but never finished it because no happy end, I think? Don't really remember. Don't think I have Family Affair though, I'll look into that.

I know there was a little discussion about Painter of the Wind, but it's been a while and I'll ask again. Is it worth to watch for the yuri? 20+ hours to watch is taxing, more so because every episode is 1 hour and I still can't get used to it. I know the end is left up to the imagination and that optimist think she sailed where the other woman sailed

Edit: Also just finished The Princess Affair by Nell Stark. A modern day romance with the princess of England. It's nice, though as you might expect, the drama near the end of it was pretty high, because you know, royalty and lesbianism. It was painfully obvious what would happen when it's mentioned at the start that the princess' older brother was to serve in the military, accompanied by another thing which is another painfully obvious 'twist'. The plus though, is that her family is supportive of her inclinations. The worst thing is, that if there was ever something similar, it would be exactly how it develops in the real world. I'm honestly disgusted at humans. But the book was good. I'll probably be reading the second in the series about a different princess.

Before someone is inavitably going to assassinate me for calling a western comic manga, Denise Schoeder released a manga on SparklerMonthly called Before You Go. Started as a Oneshot, was popular enough to get a second chapter. You can read it for free or buy it, which is probably the closest you'll ever get to supporting a manga artist and the growth of yuri. I won't because I'm broke right now.
Also, there's a comic by Alexis Cooke called For Peace. Again, read it or buy it or both.
Sparkler seems to be testing the waters with yuri and BL right now so with enough support that may lead to more stuff to read.

And is it just me or is the term yaoi offensive as fuck?

So The Princess Affair has a bad end, then?

^Yeah, nevermind. I thought the whole no climax no meaning thing was about gay people in general but it's just about like, the plot structure of porn.
