Twice a year we ask for help from our readers to help buy doujins to scan and translate for everyone. Buying and importing doujins can cost a lot of money, and between all my groups I've easily spent over $4,000 dollars on importing them. We do everything we can to buy stuff that people want to see, this includes paying $50+ at auctions for out of print Minase Ruruu doujins, or even buying stuff from Taiwan just so we can scan it.

They don't go to Comiket, they import it. Or they have a special person do it for them. Either way, no upskirts for you by them.

Ok, serious question. What prompted the creation of Yuri -ism? You guys are one of the best (if not THE best) scanlators groups I've ever seen and that is not an easy feat.

I've updated my blog entry with a new payment option.

We don't go to comiket ourselves, we have people there that will represent us to buy stuff. But mostly we just order online and have our doujins shipped via proxy.

I created Yuri-ism after scanlating het doujins for awhile. I started to enjoy doing yuri more and decided to make it a fulltime gig. The first 13 Yuri-ism doujins are actually us doing from our het group. I just moved em over. That's fair right?

Probably because Dynasty is actually bothering with permissions etc. and so Yuri-ism doesn't mind getting bigger exposure from it, since they don't blatantly steal stuff? Wasn't it 7 days before, but for some time it was like 3-4 days for Dynasty already?

Yea, it was always 7, that is why when it started updating like after 3 days, I was really confused. And yes that is my best guess, nobody else bothered with it, so Dynasty got special treatment.

Kind of unrelated, but this is why I love Dynasty so much more than other readers... aside from the yuri, awesome, clean site layout, intelligent community with involvement from the scanlators themselves (I guarantee you won't find that in most other manga readers), involved mods and admins and all, image section, and the lack of watermarks and intrusive ads... you don't know how long I've waited for the opportunity to let loose and wax lyrical about this... Anyway, I love how Dynasty respects scanlators' wishes unlike other readers who could care less. I hear that Batoto is pretty good about that as well, but I really doubt it's as good as Dynasty in all these other aspects. Batoto certainly has a lot more than Dynasty, but all I read is yuri anyway, and I'm pretty sure Batoto doesn't have doujins and other unofficial stuff.

Also, I was always wondering why these delays were getting reduced over time, and now I finally know why!

So have you guys completely given up on working with Isya? It's been YEARS since the last release, and nearly 2 years since you put out anything other than chapters of Isn't The Moon Beautiful or Bait Food Girls
