Even worse than I thought it'd be. They changed some of the scenes, like Konomi walking in on Yoriko laying on top of Hanabi to a generic scene telling her to stop touching her basically. Skipped a bunch of pages and only adapted the first half of the first chapter, though that one is over 60 pages long. Animation is as basic as you can possibly get. Looks like it will be 3 minutes with a 30 second OP or ED.

Why make an anime when you can't even compromise to a decent adaptation...

Uma Musume has almost no Yuri at all but the girls are shippable. The male trainer doesn't bother me much, I think because the girls are rather focused more about competition. The race and competition is entertaining at least.

Comic girls was as gay as expected.

Still weird to me that high schoolers can draw porn, but oh welll.

The first minutes it was really awkward or cringe with the protagonist overreaction but as soon as she got into the dorm everything was in place and it was amazingly cute and fun !!! I never saw the manga but I love the anime so far, and it looks like the pairs are already settled ? can't wait for chapter 2!

legend of the galactic heroes... wow nice ships!

Comic girl probably will become my favorite this season. Honestly I dont get into new game or slow start but comic girls is good. The art, that dorm house looks cool and characters design are great too.

Yeah, Comic Girls turned out surprisingly well. Definite watch

Meanwhile, Lostorage is not getting better and Mahou Shoujo Site is possibly too faithful to it's source material

Lostorage first episode is just the OVA released last year, and the point was making an interlude between both stories.
We should see the actual new series next week.
I was reading Peeping Analyze and that was amazing, actually, so I at least will hope for something good now that Kiyori is the MC.

Peeping Analyze is indeed great and Kiyoi can be a good MC... but I don't think the current writer is up to it (I'm assuming the OVA and series have the same staff). What happened here was kinda at odds with Peeping Analyze, and not in any kind of a good way

Oh shit, first episode of SAO: Alternative airs tomorrow.

And now that I watched the episode, they actually made no efforts to explain the story if you haven't read the manga, what is weird.
I didn't see any problem with this episode in particular, mostly because nothing happened. I'm still afraid of them bringing old characters back because they can ruin them. Also, a new protagonist would have better potential.
Like, how the hell they'll make Tama a LRIG again?

Well I haven't seen the episode yet (mainly because I'm currently binging another anime atm and I'm not the kind of person who can watch multiple anime's at the same time, Citrus and Pop Team Epic were exceptions) but I think that even if they do bring old characters back like Kirito and Asuna I think at most they'll have a cameo appearances.

Remember how LRIGs work in Lostorage? Tama just needs to be important to Ruu

Point is that human Tama is around already. So the show would have two Tama.

Not that I would mind, but sounds weird.

I tried watching lostorage but haha it was indeed a mistake without watching any of the previous series, but honestly my only motivation was a picture of a cool character, and with soooo much releases this month (heck, even today is a lot!) I guess I'll pass.

Yeah, it's not something you can just jump into. Watching the three previous seasons and probably even the manga is obligatory.

As for me, this is the season I'm less interested in things in years. But that's good, since having too much shows I have interest is overwhelming.
Next season will be a hard one.

I have persona 5, Major 2nd (Baseball is boring, but the first part made it look super exciting), BNH, Hinamatsuri, Comic girl, Gungale online, Legend of the ... old men in space or something, megalobox.. Maybe mahou shoujo site and the list continues ! except for Amanchu sadly I saw the last post in the manga discussion and I feel really bad just thinking about what it has become.

Amanchu is really good, and the first episode of S2 proves that. The problem is them playing up the bait even more than the manga does. I'm still enjoying it and will enjoy the ride until it goes off that cliff.

Reason for me skipping Amanchu is that I'm getting tired of these animes about nature or something. I found Yuru Camp kinda boring.
I don't think it's worth to skip it if you still like the show. Like, I enjoyed Hibike S2 a lot.

I love them, so I'm happy about yama no susume s3 (I wonder if they'll end in Everest or something like the April's fool joke) and I enjoyed amanchu s1 a lot too but the way the manga handled that "issue" was really bad, Aria was great, it was about friendship, magic, gondolas and stuff like that it didn't need anything else. A place further than the universe is a great example too and yama no susume but Amanchu? it was like that, it didn't even need bait but definitely it DID NOT need romance and worse if you consider how they started with it and I'm gonna watch Hibike s2 eventually... Maybe depending on the movies' performance.

Now if you excuse me, I'm going to watch Gungale and be properly baited (mostly by my own yuri googles).

PS: Looks like Hai Fury will have a movie... I didn't find the series really good, I guess Japan just love ships.

I don't think Amanchu was supposed to imply yuri. The author just think of them as friends. Although I'll agree the way she killed the ship is bad. She could just make a het plot with Pikari without the whole: "our genders are different, so our feelings are different" bullshit.

As for Gungale, there's actually yuri in the novel. More specifically: Pitohui is bi and kisses the MC when they meet IRL.
Anime might not get there, though. But being SAO, it'll probably sell and get more seasons.

And yeah, I didn't get Hai Furi. It was too boring. But I might watch just because the girls are cute, I don't know.

I'm more excited with the fact that there's enough material for a s2 than the kiss but it is a big plus

Amanchu

...Now that I've looked up what you guys are talking about, I'm glad I never got into the series. There's a bunch of really questionable implications in what happened

PS: Looks like Hai Fury will have a movie... I didn't find the series really good, I guess Japan just love ships.

I did like the series, and am surprised it managed to get a movie, since I didn't think it was all that popular. Kinda worried, since the OVA was terrible

Intriguing! I was already perfectly happy watching the murder-rabbit do her thing, though

I tried watching the new Souten no Ken because everyone was going on about the bad CGI, and they weren't kidding. I kept expecting QTE prompts to pop up.

The SAO spinoff seems like it could be a cool action show though!
