^Fair yeah. I've seen some of the Western fandom for the gacha being weird (putting it mildly)...but I've also seen some push back. In general I try to avoid a lot of fandom stuff outside of art.

I figure though that if the gacha game doesn't click for you, myself, or anyone else here, it can't hurt to recommend the anime. Which outside of the original Special Week season the anime has just been a solid sports drama imo. So even if I don't like the game I'll keep enjoying the anime releases for now at the very least.
