The artist does indeed ship Silence and Ptilopsis,but they also have never made Silence have such ears before,which resemble that of Frostleaf and especially Sussurro.

^I think it is Silence. Based on this art they've done of her and Ptil together. Where you see Silence from the front, and she has the same style of hair/ears, little tuft on the top of her head.

But in other works of theirs,Silence has her usual rough tip feather ears...

The artistic liberty in this is reaching never seen before heights.

^I think it's hard to see in some pictures, but I think they do both pretty consistently, which seems to be consistent with her in game design. Feathers in the front, thicker hair and ears behind it. Here's some more examples of their art. 1, 2, 3.

So I don't think they're even taking artistic liberties, it's just that we don't usually see Silence from the back. So we're not seeing her usual front feathers here, and are just seeing the back hair and ears from this side. I think this art is fine, and the artist is following her design.

pro shipper in fandom terms usually refers to "problematic ships", incest, power dynamic issues, problematic age gaps (someone over 18 and someone under) etc. It's not they don't allow shippers, they don't want like, Barbara x Jean shippers to interact with them.

"pro-shippers" basically mean people who support incest, illegal age gaps and other ships which would be deemed problematic so they're not really welcomed by a lot of people. they also tend to use the argument that "it's just fiction" or "these characters aren't real" which would be true in some cases but they use it to justify shipping siblings or shipping a character with their parental figure lmao.
