to all bird-watchers/lovers:
there's a great bird manga that unfortunately hasn't been translated yet...
it's called "toripan" / とりぱん (already 32. vol. available)
it would be great if someone would translate it, otherwise i might have to translate it with the help of deepL / google... but a real translation would be 1000 times better!!!

In the volume extras, third page, the one labeled as 05, it feels like there's a missing "no" that's supposed to be before "charm".

shovellers are cool, their big old beaks are so goofy. they do look kinda like mallards and sometimes you will see mallard/shoveller hybrids even though they aren't in the same genus let alone species, because ducks.

I actually saw the shoebill in Ueno Zoo. It was all alone, so I wondered whether it would be feeling a tad lonely. It didn't make a sound, and didn't move much, but it was indeed impressive.
