Way back in chapter 7, they were talking about the temperature of the hot springs rising, and this lead to a discussion about Youkai Mountain being a still active volcano.

Now Mizuchi was last seen tinkering with a stereo, tossing out all the parts. She openly admits to having no technical knowledge in her thoughts, so it's unlikely she could be creating something with it.

More likely, she's just scooping out the parts to put something in instead.

I think she's going to try and activate the volcano. Possibly with an explosive device.

Recall that when Reimu embarrassed Sanae at a party, her first idea for getting back was to beat her up or lay a curse on her (back in Wild and Horned Hermit). Sanae just has a violent cast of mind - and I think that's great.

Okay, as far as I'm concerned, I'm now 200% CERTAIN that Mizuchi is a Hakurei, at the very least by nurture and quite possibly by nature as well.

She's got the hair tube things, a grudge against the shrine, and the ability to place apparently very solid barriers of her own make. She at the very least received hakurei shrine maiden training, and I wouldn't be surprised if she was part of a branch family or something like that. I'm assuming her family got wiped out by youkai, she got adopted by the Hakurei family to take care of her, but she can't stand their neutral position and blames them for her family's death.

How come Reimu was watching Shou scold Kogasa Very Intently but then the next frame shows her breaking into the room where Shou is holding Byakuren...? Oh well.
