I've never been able to get interested in sportsball, no matter how I tried. Closest was watching the hockey playoffs one year because my roommates at the time were super into it. Which made it a bit more fun, but that was it.

Now if world cup was done with go-carts, Rocket League style, I'd totally watch it.

Crawdads are one of my favorite foods! I had no idea LA had them...usually they're prevalent around Louisiana.

I don't watch soccer but I used to play it! I did hear about a match with Mexico where they lost 7-0. I laughed but felt sad for them after...

I do think we should name this thread "Off Topic" or something similar, though. The only reason I joined the WDTFS off topic was because it was the only off topic thread I could find! No intro thread either. Maybe at least make the name obvious it's an off topic thread even if it's not called "Off Topic"

I think it's because I'm getting older, but with the passing of time, my interest towards football just fades away... and the fact that our national team suck so much that they failed to qualify for Euro 2016, makes me even less inclined to follow through the matches. *goes back into lurking mode
