Sorry to be a killjoy and ruin everyone's fun, but MOMO (the author) doesn't want her works to be uploaded for free without her permission, especially as this doujin in particular is available to buy online, so it's not like in other cases where doujins are out of print or impossible to read without a scanlation otherwise. MOMO is aware of this website and would like to request a takedown but she doesn't have an account here because of the language barrier. Is there a way she can contact the mods directly?

I obviously appreciate Dynasty's content and I respect the userbase's hard work, but as fans I think it's important to understand and respect the artist's wishes too.

In Japanese, this is a strong way to tell a person to quit messing around, or it is a way to express your anger at someone else who you feel is being an idiot. It isn't polite at all.

Hence, my take on it.

I'm coming out of the woodwork to comment on this. I think instead of "You fucking idiot!" a better phrase to use may be "Are you fucking kidding me?" or "Are you trying to fuck with me?" The meaning is a little different contextually.

The inner thoughts of Mizuki about not hearing it are also a little off for me personally. The translation is correct, but I think the meaning didn't carry across quite well. From pages 3 to 4, Mizuki is basically lamenting the fact that she's not an extrovert who'd just accept someone into her space/life easily. She's expecting Aya to ditch her to get back with Chizuru as friends. Mizuki doesn't think Chizuru would accept her as a friend and didn't think she'd be able to make another friend so soon after giving her full effort just to tell Aya the truth. There was a visible effort for Mizuki to not read what Aya is texting her about. So what she's really saying is "If I don't have to hear about it (Aya and Chizuru rekindle friendship), then I won't have to feel bad/rejected again/" She's essentially expecting to have lost an important friend. This is why the last panel is now showing us Aya is actually texting Mizuki saying "I'm coming over!"

So honestly, I think instead of saying "You're a fucking idiot!" which can be translated that way, it may be better to say "Are you fucking kidding me?!"

If you guys think this is bad just let me remind you that Yomotsuka saw a really badly translated version of one of his short LL stories he literally tweeted it and said that's why he doesn't allow translations. It's the artist's creation, unfortunately if that's how they want it that's how it's gonna be.

"Reevaluate your life priorities" and "Not sure if trolling or just stupid" doesn't seem like mild responses to me.

Newly released chapters simply automatically go at the bottom unless moved. I took it upon myself to move it to volume 3 where it looks like it goes; if that's not right then someone can either let me know or fix it.

Far as I can tell, Rival and Kase-san isn't part of volume 3 (Shortcake to Kase-san), which starts with ch11, so it's hard to place where it goes publication wise (chronologically it takes place just before ch8).
Basically trying to figure out the actual numbering of this series is confusing.

Maybe put it in extras with chapter 5.5 and 6? Or put it next to Christmas and Kase-san which currently has it's own unnamed section?

Rival and Kase San was an extra iirc after Tsubomi ceased publication. It's weird like that because the series has been changed to releasing via digital instead of traditional printing.

I know that a lot of people have raved about episode 4 in the latest season already, but I just can't ever get over the fact that the after sex scene was so genuine and sweet. There wasn't anything super awkward or gross, it was just two people being in love with each other after all the hell they've been through. I am not even gonna lie, I cried a little at the scene. And then I got completely destroyed by the safe place scene at the end of the episode ;_; My recording of the latest episode somehow got messed up so I haven't actually saw the part where Root was presumed dead by Shaw. I don't know if I actually want to get there though...

Ok so art is pretty and all but it's been bothering me for a long time so I'll just ask about it here : Why does NSFW doujins always have to start by rape-ish action ? Like all those "no don't" and all ? I think I read somewhere it was in japanese culture to resist a bit but still I find it bothering. If I ever touched someone and this someone said stop, I'll just stop. Those shitty excuses like "you are so cute for me to stop" or "it's your fault" just won't work. There is a thin gap between consensual and rape-ish or full rape. That resisting play seems like an obligatory part of the story, and it is getting bothering, because even between characters who are in love there is still this "no don't". ( sorry, that was me complaining )

Well, the earlier (and better) part of this thread was about various people weighing in about whether they liked it or not and what lines they draw for themselves. But then we got the misunderstandings about laws and the whole "people are out to ban something I like" stuff and it degraded. Predictably, I suppose.

But no, I'm at least not making value judgements about any of the people who have posted so far.
