the actual harm of comics about having sex with children is that it, well, sexualises children and reinforces a mindset where it's okay to do so. i don't think that drawings should be treated the same as photographs because then you're giving paper the same legal protections as real children which is demeaning to them but i'm not sure that it's totally harmless either. sure, maybe not something that should be legally prosecuted but treating it as simple preference or a quirky perversion might not be a good idea.

It's what I said before, but I'll make the operative words more clear. IN ISOLATION loli porn isn't going to do fuck-all but except turn on people who are into stylized children having sex. Which is gross, but not NECESSARILY harmful. What we have on this site is a small enough amount and not especially promoted, so isolation actually is what's going on here. NO need to remove anything at all, although I personally wouldn't shed any tears to see effectively toddlercon shit like Oshikko Sensei go bye-bye.

All I am going to say about this thread is I like lolicon a very specific way, in that the lolis tend to be drawn more like small people, toddlercon or stuff that is meant to look like actual kids is gross, just felt the need to point out that not all people who like loli stuff are into kids, in fact I would argue a lot of people who like loli are not.

Well, the earlier (and better) part of this thread was about various people weighing in about whether they liked it or not and what lines they draw for themselves. But then we got the misunderstandings about laws and the whole "people are out to ban something I like" stuff and it degraded. Predictably, I suppose.

But no, I'm at least not making value judgements about any of the people who have posted so far.

Except Machigai Kouhai. I'm totally judging them.
