the rush i felt seeing this pop up in my page... oooh how i missed her stories n art
brings back old memories.. back to my roots!

i really liked this one. bittersweet but also i like how optimistic the mc is. it feels like characters like that are rare nowadays. i also like how the ghost concept was handled in general. takemiya jin almost always hits the right spot for me in manga and im so glad she's still active.

I don't know if another countries in Asia did this or not but in my country Vietnam after the funeral of a member in the family, for the next 7 day x 7 week = 49 days the family continue to perform offering ceremonies for the dead, wishing their soul to liberated from everything left of the living land, to a better place.

That last page hit pretty hard... had to reread the story with it in mind and it gave it an even stronger bittersweet feeling. Glad to see she's getting through it though.

I hope we get to see more works from her in the future!

I bought like five of those furry doujins from Takemiya-sensei at the last winter Comiket, and I will say I like them a lot more than the omegaverse stuff she was doing for a while. I hadn't realized that she'd been taking a break from non-doujin work!
