^ It's not really apparent in the novel either. The intention doesn't seem to be to give her angst, she's fully behind Kaguya and her hidden feelings are just a detail that enhances the context of her character if you know about them. In the Ray music video there's a scene of Iroha at school looking prim and proper while her reflection in the window is barely holding on. This is from Roka's point of view who then comes into the scene. Early in the movie she tells Iroha she needs to lighten up and stop working so hard. Later on she notices Kaguya has changed Iroha and made her much more cheerful. It's all consistent with Roka's description in the guidebook which mentions she noticed Iroha's struggles but can't break through to her.
