I agree with Halmoni on that thing. But lol now I wonder if will we ever see a somewhat rated scene in FF.

So with no feedback on the post earlier...I assume either 1) just being ignored for lack of interest...which is totally understandable.... or 2) No one actually listen to anything while reading manga/manhawa and with that I would be surprised a bit because I always believed the majority would do.
Anyway...less than 48 hours and I would enjoy the "fluttering feelings" when reading THE fluttering feelings while listening to "tsuki no dansu" or (A Dance of the moon).
Really can't wait, Thank god it is a week and not longer because I couldn't take it.

I enjoy reading manga and Manhwa while listening to music. Most of the music would be slow/sad type which goes very well with the type of the manga I read such as drama or slice of life (Exception would be ofcourse with more violent and horror work such as "island" for example during which the music would be strong/beating type).
While I hardly have specific music with each work, there are few works during which I could only read them while listening to one specific song/music.
One example was Satougashi no Dangan wa Uchinukenai (A Lollipop or a Bullet), an amazing work that I hope EVERYONE here have read it. With each chapter which I have read 10s of times, I found it matching like a waltz dance with the songs of Akino Arai "Ningen no Kodomo A human child"

I am not sure if my experience on the matter is relevant (being a non-American) but every time I go to the USA, it's the same - I have to deal with a hail of men hitting on me and somehow out of nowhere I turn out to be a very desired woman(not my fault, back home I am not at all), having lonely-wolf kind of character I find it annoying... so I mastered perfectly turning down invitations..... well, a male gay friend of mine(nice person and we get on well since i also go for women so he was open to me) asked me to marry him for a Green Card xD which i refused momentarily and without a second thought, i missed my chance to become an American citizen xD there are still people who are nagging about it..

Yes you are right, it was on hold for almost a year but finally got completed. But now that you mentioned it, I looked at Dynasty reader and they haven't finish it yet (perhaps it was another fan work or something)
And...no discussion form about it ?!! We should have one before I turn this into its form.

I meant that Dark Fantasy appeals to my most base of insticts, violence and sex. Slight bonus for what we call "the trainwreck".

Dark Fantasy is indeed, a beautiful thing.

But the U.S is prude, for the biggest porn consumer sure is prude when it comes to media and everyday life in general. Probably all that judeo christian value of sin, lust and shame.

And haha no disagreement there really. Though we objectify a helluva lot, we don't bat an eyelash at violence. Christian stuff gets butt hurt easily when they think it might be "attacking" their religion and sensibilities when they can ya know.... just ignore it. Most still think they can influence the country (and for some reason many still listen to them =/). But that entire issue is an unnecessary conversation to have here. Mmmm, I sorta disagree with this and agree more about how they simply switch roles. In Selorae, I'm assuming halmoni meant that Seol-a was the queen and No-rae the knight.

But what Queen would chase her knight half-way across the country? What knight would attack his/her Queen? Altho, based on a a chunk of the chapters prior to the last couple of chapters, I could definitely see it. The way I see it, the relationship structure went: [EDIT: I just realized that halmoni had said recently. Oops. Oh well. My bad.]

You remind me of this girl who started making book reviews on youtube, like single digits views on her videos and all. She was sheltered as hell, /lit/ ( 4chan literature forum ) found her and began the classic harassment and laughing at her. She then made a Tumblr post on how she was being violated and felt unsafe. Fast forward a little bit and she deleted her yt account. A pure soul was descecrated forever. Wasn't tough enough for the internet lol.

omg, when I first read that, I missed the whole 4chan bit and thought you had done it. I was flabbergasted. And then I read the whole 'lol' thing, and realized it was 4chan and not you. relief I feel bad for that girl tho.

But yeah, internet is a cruel place. :/ That's one of the reasons I avoid places like 4chan, with the remaining reasons being that I don't know they exist in the first place lol. I only stumbled across it because of this board, and even then, the people on there were vicious, even the ones just on the FF subsection. I can't imagine being on the receiving end of them.

But another thing in common with that girl: I do have a YT account that I actually post to! Differences: I don't post lit reviews [or myself] and actually have a few thou subscribers. But I suppose the latter is inevitable if it isn't lit review...I mean, people don't even watch anime reviews and way more people watch anime than read books [for fun anyways!].

I'm a big socially awkward softie, I don't have the guts, will or desire to do anything hurtful like that. On ther other hand everything pretty rolls off me maybe because I've been on the internet for so long that you get to understand all this trolling is really nothing but bored folks. The funniest things, most heartfelt, most insightful things I've read on the internet comes from there. A lot of intelligent but shy and awkward people who without anonymity would never have the courage to post their thoughts otherwise and sometime it is just nothing short of amazing.

It's sort of like a RPG where you grind for loot and find that amazing socketed, incredible mods weapon amongst all the terrible things. I should stop with the RPGs analogies, but I just like em too much.

well, I've never had the possibility to marry for a green card, regardless of who is proposing.I have to be insanely in love with someone to do that, then I wouldn't mind :P

Well, it was my fault, I chose to travel last summer knowing well that I will delay my graduation, but I am glad, I had lots of fun and adventures :)

I'm PC master race with a playstation side because of JRPGs, too bad Sony kept less and less exclusives in the PS3 era. It bodes well for the PS4 on the other hand.

And lol @ /s/ you could of not been less lucky. It's literally a sub board to showcase porn, there's a few of them. If you want to know what is what, the colour of the background indicates if it's nsfw board. Yellow is anything goes and blue is "sfw" with some exceptions. Anime board etc allow nudity if it's an actual manga/VN etc. But if it's fan art and non official images then it
needs to be spoilered or will be deleted if there are mods around. Yuri is NSFW because people love dumping fan art.

I usually browse /a/ to check for some nice manga recommendations / raws of particular series I enjoy and sometimes some key members drop quality untranslated works that is much deserving of some attention by scanlation.

The other boards I follow is /v/ideo games for games and meme talk. I find /v/ to be a bit elitist but most big gaming forums like NEOgaf are starting to be a bit too "tumblr SJW" for my liking. When most posters are more interested by how clothed a woman character is and if there's quality gay characters for every game, it's when I leave. I want to talk about gameplay :( . A lot of JRPG fans in there as you'd expect an anime board to be. Daily "FF XYZ is the best" threads.

I also visit /int/ernational for friendly world banter. Do note that everyone thinks you're a fat amerilard if you're american. Usually it's just country posters making fun of other countries and talking history.

I visit /sp/orts when I watch sports, collective viewing is a nice experience. It sure made world cup last year much more enjoyable.

If you do go on there and end up truamatized, feel free to curse me =P.

We've had a few "x thread", like the sports thread I just recently did. Still it's imperfect. My post was about many things and I could of possibly posted my reponse somewhere else with the quotes. There's still an issue in this that the poster might not see the response because he/she does not frequent the other thread. Since there's no PM option, being strictly on topic can be difficult when the discussion goes in another direction.

An option would be to create a "off-topic thread" and refer to people you answered the off topic portion of their posts. But that can be unwieldy, confusing and chaotic.

AHH I'm loving all of this kindred spirit stuff!! In 24 hrs apparently I've found out I have more in common with all y'all than I have with 99% of the people I've met in real life. -_- I like the whole asking before hugging thing tho! Tho I'm on the complete opposite when it comes to preferring gentle/bear hugs...I think I'd prefer the latter just because it'd feel less awkward to me. I could see that. I guess bear hugs are on the casual side. Whereas softness feels a bit... intimate? In my case, softness relaxes me. I find it soothing so that helps me to adjust.

That's great news. ^^ I hope it means more fan art will be on its way. Chinese artists tend to have a particular painting style that I really love. If the view of that first fan art was flipped, I imagine No-rae's expression would ruin the heart fluttering vibe since she's probably freaking out due to Seol-a being so close. lol.
