She's a parasitic monster, but I think there's some hints at more emotional depth there. She seemed relieved her true form was not seen beyond just a practical level for example. Being driven but hunger might overpower her other needs, but she probably still has them.

Minor correction, but Majima seems to be something of an apex predator, not a parasitic predator. She just happens to be using Suzu as bait, because it's convenient.

I presume that Suzu being used as bait is why Majima's being described as parasitic, though the harm that Suzu actually experiences as a result of serving as bait is relatively minor as long as Majima actually does get her prey. Heck, I'm almost tempted to consider this commensalism as Suzu mostly comes out even for all of it.
