Oh no, maybe they are just dreaming, is a flashfoward?

Both funeral AND wedding allusions with the white flowers??? auuuuugh this story is just piling on the heartbreak. Also the two page spread of Iro in the field is stunning, followed closely by Aino laying in them motionless. And the cute dream outfits... really this chapter was just killing it on the visuals

That's how these authors capture our hearts, they create something so beautifully wholesome, filled with yuri, only to later hint at a tragic ending. It leaves you crying for hours, just like The Summer You Were There. These Clever authors, indeed. TvT

I can't get over that visual of Aino dancing with the fairies. This series is so sweet and gorgeous~

This whole chapter had a bitter sweet feeling, I knew she'd be left with a recording of something along the lines of "I love you". Gaaaaaaaaaaah it hurts x_x

Someone said it correctly that it's a yuri mixed version of frieren, dungeon meshi and girls' last tour. What a great story so far although I'm bracing myself for sad ending.

This one remind me so much of "Composing Spring in This Room Where Cherry Blossoms Bloom".
especially the undertones of grieving and acceptance of loved one passing.

Same here, I feel a strong sense of skepticism and don’t want to get my hopes up. But regardless of whether the ending is happy or sad, this series has such a beautifully bittersweet tone. ^_^

Look, a fluffy chapter about mochi clay dolls isn't supposed to have me sobbing out of both joy and sorrow on several occasions, okay?

Geez. The usual angsty stuff doesn't even make me tear up, but this?

Cant enjoy this till i get a happy ending confirmation.

I strongly feel like we won't get one, but at the same time I feel just as strongly that that in itself is a happy ending.

How does the rezzing spell even work? She was drawing a circle, maybe out of blood?
The devil's in the details now, if she REALLY wants a shot at keeping her around I'd go over it again, or would bring it to a more experienced mage
By the way I find it EXTREMELY suspicious that they just brush over her being the "first one" to figure out a res spell, I would imagine that it would be like figuring out hydrogen powered cars, something that the greater research community as a whole would be furiously trying to figure out day after day
Then suddenly SHE'S the one to figure it out first? Just because she wanted to as a kid? Without the help of other mages? Also where are the other mages? It just doesn't add up, why WOULDN'T other mages try to figure out resurrection? Unless it's a very taboo topic that leads to shit like this

I wanted to check so I looked at the raws. Aino uses 愛してる (aishiteru) in ch. 4 when she tells Iro she loves her. The full line is イロ愛してるぞ (Iro aishiteru zo) with ぞ being a masculine sentence ending particle indicating certainty or emphasis. So the whole line could be read as "I seriously love you Iro."
