Holy hell I just looked at the raws for the next few chapters and now I have a desperate need for chapters 21 and 22 to be translated, because I am mad curious what exactly is said around/about that extremely trans-behaving character.

The letter he was so jealous over was for him all along. :D

You have the letter right there, dude, just read it instead of making excuses and doing mostly useless internet searches...

Nice to see more of the childhood part of the story unfold, though.

Oh dang, I hope we get to follow up with them in the future and I hope they're doing well...

Now that was an excellent twist with Senpai. Really interested in seeing where this part of the story goes from here now. ^_^

Reading earlier chapters after this is quite something with all instances of her being called 'manly' and 'cool'... I hope that she's fine now that she's older because whatever happens next is going to be very painful.

And the implication that Asako as a kid was much like Kakei suggests that her weird flirting with Masashi is less the manipulations of a pedophile and more her repeating what she herself once went through.

No, she’s still a pedo and she’s still manipulating him. Many pedophiles were abused as children and pass it on. She’s a victim, yes, but that doesn’t excuse her actions and how she engages with the 11 year old boy

(Currently finished ch 13 and this is my impression of Asako so far. I do agree that Kakei is a victim too, but she’s still an asshole.)

Ch 17
triggered me because I was in his shoes.
Regular person would never react to a request like that.

That’s 100% true. Only a child predator and mentally ill person would respond like that

If you have been molested, your inner child stop growing unless there is something that can help you, which are not too much.

What?

People usually play with others who have the same inner child age.

WHAT?

That means in this case, Asako (or Moroboshi what have you...) psychologically or emotionally or both is the same age as the MC who is still in middle school.

WHAAT!?

Inner child age does not have to be a child; it merely reflex when the inner child stop to grow. Could be 4, 14, 34, 54!!

No. Just no.

Finished ch 17. My impression of her is even worse.

She’s 100000000% a bad person. Literally choked a child just cuz he said something she didn’t like. Children don’t know any better, she knows that, she’s self aware that he’s an elementary schooler, so the way she’s treating him is insane.

She’s a pedo, a groomer and a disgusting abuser, even if she’s suffered or been through trauma and is a victim of the same stuff herself.

It’s interesting seeing the story from the victims perspective. He doesn’t view himself as a victim (very realistic when it comes to victims of grooming), he viewed Asako as a perfect adult and only realized she could be flawed thanks to Yukako (its great to see how smart she’s grown up to be, and the way she interacted with the 14 yo is how Asako should’ve interacted with Masashi).

I’m curious to see how the story will go, and how Masashi’s rose tinted view of Asako will change, because it’s definitely going to change after he finds out more and more about her.

What an interesting twist

It’s cool to see the sister learn to be more open minded but I’m more interested in what’s in that letter. I wonder if him hearing what his sis knew of “Asako” will encourage him to read it and try finding her again?

She's grown a lot, and certainly not just physically. ^_^
