Gotta say I didn't like it at all; especially the ending. At least the typical sex-room premise encourages sex; it's ridiculous but harmless (when talking about two people who presumably want to do it with one another anyway).
This "twist" is messed up; the potential consequences of sex are so awful--to be trapped in a room until you die--it isn't remotely sexy when things get lewd. In fact it's downright scary!
Plus, they made it seem like there was going to be some revelation about who was responsible. Like someone Kanan's parents hired to make sure they weren't going to do anything while they were away. Or whatever. Instead they just walk out and go home like it was no big deal.
Look, I don't mean to take a doujin too seriously, but you have to be able to suspend disbelief somewhat, right? And I just can't imagine anyone in a situation like this being able to think about something as frivolous as sex when you've just found out someone drugged and kidnapped you, and is seemingly prepared to starve you to death if you don't abide by the rules of their sick game. "Just a prank?" FFS! Any normal person would go straight to the police afterward. Granted, I'm the kind of person who really doesn't like even "innocent" pranks, but even so, something like this should be well beyond the pale and freak out even the most easy-going of people.
