It probably has to do with the way some people is raised, so they think that a fictional depiction of a thing equals the intent of doing said thing IRL.

Basically the current equivalent of "videogames cause violence" and "pokemon is a Satanist work". -_-

That's something I've heard has happened before, and yeah some of how people are raised can be really hard to break away from. I'm also glad I was born at a time where I didn't have internet, I was going to the movie rental store and getting excited for new releases on VHS and then DVD later, sometimes getting a PC game disc for a basic kids game, and then years later getting Dial Up internet. I feel like having more of an ability to detach from the internet has really helped me in my life, and I think some people that grow up always online right away might have a harder time detaching from the internet.

^ Ye, but considering that back when Burnice's trailer was released, several people on Dynastycord focused on that particular part, I would've assumed yuri artists on twitter or blsky or tumblr or pixiv would've initially also gotten inspired and drawn and have people here have their art requested for upload here very quickly.

I agree with the comments above too, I don't think Sorawo is aroace. Having hang ups or not actively seeking a rs or intimacy doesn't always make you one, and she has displayed interest for both with Toriko.
