One of my favorite reads that I can never bring myself to recommending to people. It's hard to recommend something that will never be finished. Even more so because of the reason it will never be finished.

It's been a while since I've reread this. Still one of my favorite stories I've had the pleasure of reading. A damn tragedy what happened to the author.

On re-reading it, I find myself sad to realize just how short it was. It seemed longer while it was coming out and we were eagerly waiting for chapters, but really the author was cut off in what was perhaps still the beginning of that lovely slow burn. Damn it.

Well, we'll always have that gorgeous moment with the baseball bat.
