i love the unresolved conga line of ships from PL. Sora (and Lapp tbh) have a thing for Texas (they can get together, Lapp is from RI it's fine, two rejects find solace and all), Texas has a thing for Exusiai who... couldn't care less.... Exu has a thing for Mostima, and Mostima has a thing for Lemuen but also an incredible guilt complex oops.

^That's way too depressing for me haha, I personally much prefer the happier and more fun narrative of "Everyone Is Into Everyone". So regardless they always end up with someone they have a thing for, they're just flexible in their choices and results.

The overlap I've seen between people who think Mioletta isn't actually going to happen and people who want the series to become more serious makes me want to see the show go full G-Gundam and have Suletta and Miorine defeat the final boss with Aerial harnessing the power of their love.

without reading the manga, I'd say both BoKita and NijiRyo also seem just as fitting
