@Zexalfan Ive been told these two have good chemistry, but theres an annoying hetero love triangle with no chemistry between wednesday and two dudes who suck and are boring. I don't mind if she is straight honestly but they ought to put the effort in. Theres some other gripes but overall my friend said it was Pretty Good anyway.

To me its funny how the relationship between "roomies" is way better written and developed than the, allegedly, male love interests, from both Wednesday and Enid which makes the hetero ending (?) way worse because it's so shallow.

^^^ Enid is a character wich is based in the rejection. If you are different, you will be rejected, even from your family.
She can be referenced as any person being discriminated in any case. not only for they orientation.
But... If you want to teorize more. THe clothes Enid wears, the "Wolf Out" the Wednesday dependance, the nails with Ajax... can be taken as Enid realizing what she really likes... WIth Ajax being her own "excuse" to call herself "normal"...
And the actrecess has said they will be fine, if their characters end like a couple. And Netflix love that...
So.... AJax, as "Enid's boyfriend" (they are not a cuple, Enid say taht to her mom). ins not enough to dismissed the ship as cannon..
But I don't rellay care... I think they are cute as a toxic -codependant friendship.

Okay so the show is super fun for those who love snarky characters and wanna see Wednesday girlboss around. The dudes are cute and I don't hate them. I think the queer community is just unfairly biased against straight romances that aren't mindblowingly well written. I think the straight romances are fine, if a bit boring. It's cute watching Wednesday being herself and thinking "ah, I like her" and she never actually shows any interest in them (just from the 4 episodes I've watched so far).
As for Enid and Wednesday's chemistry, they're mostly just cool buddies and Enid pulls Wednesday along for some fun shit and Enid puts her foot down when Wednesday is being too bitchy. They're great, but nothing is really sparking romantically if that makes sense. I still love them though because the idea of the deadpan goth chick x golden retriever sunny rainbow girl is divine
