but anyways, Karuha doujins are definitely one of the best (in the NicoMaki corner). Art-wise, story-wise, the way Nico and Maki seem to be more mature - simply beautiful.

They're like themselves, but...older. More mature. Less theatricals. I like it.

ikr? She's so open and mature about their relationship. And it's not only her, Maki too is more honest about her feelings in all of Kahuka's works.

Most doujins about them are usually about how cute their tsundere act is, but watching them act as they would in a relationship is all want

I like this type of NicoMaki. Nico is so mature, it's really refreshing.
The art is incredibly good though, especially that cover. Amazing.

Had to wait a full year to get a new Karuha doujin. Haha.

Wish the editor didn't downscale the raws so much. What a waste.

Just ran over this whole series again. And apparently, the chronological order for all Karuha's NikoMaki are:

• No.1 ch1 (winter)
• No.1 ch2
• The steps of Adulthood (1st time, before Niko's graduation)
• Romantic Summer (1st summer since dating, before graduation but after their 1st time)
• No1 ch3 (Niko's graduation)
• Bitter x Sweet x Birthday (adult, before Niko move in)
• Fall (adult, Maki proposing Niko to move in)
• Time for Lovers (adult, after Niko already moved in)

Oh that was great and cute!!

Oh my GOD!
The fact I read this in summer, with the window open, and a really nice breeze coming in... It felt absolutely blissful.
This doujin is nothing short of a masterpiece... I loved every moment, every second of it, I spent like half an hour enjoying each panel and taking in the expressions and feelings.
I feel so blessed having seen Maki and Nico being so open to each other, and so loving, as well as so relaxed and happy together.
KYUUUUUU!!!! IS IT OKAY TO ENJOY SOMETHING THIS GOOD!?
