I dont know if i like this manga or not yet. I like the randomness but then sometimes it feels like it's (too) random and just gets confusing. I'm not sure about this yet. But lol at the professional pool splashers hahaa

Yet another little STG reference, the "Bye Bye Bydo" on the front of the Super Azusa Mk-II. Better than Truxton! (Not as good as Garegga.)

Garegga combined with Nausicaa now, and a Precure reference to boot. This is really nerdy. I like it.

More than Nausicaa, I even got some ABE Yoshitoshi (?) feel from this one, ch 9 felt a little bit more sci-fi'ish than the rest. Also, that robot wasn't a dream kek. (I'd like me one, too)

I'm talking about direct references more than overall style. The "BLACK MEVE" on the paper doll page (also seen when Naoko appears at the window shouting "Max Heart!") is a fusion of Black Heart (a boss from Battle Garegga) and Nausicaä's Möwe.

The author clearly loves shooting games.
