Just pretend the comics or Twitter post never existed.
Could you still call Korra a lgbt show? I don't think so.
If the actual show cannot establish their relationship within the show, than they've failed to convey it in the show.

Obviously, I wish they did.
I wish we got a kiss between them in the show. I wish they could express their love. I wish I didn't waste my time seeing Korra and Asami suck face with Mako, but that's not the reality.
I believe lgbt deserve better representation, like Steven Universe, Adventure Time, The Owl house and She-ra.

I fucking hate you all

What do you mean? This is art in a pristine, untainted form, immortalised through the internet's treatment of relatively well-known subjects such as Among Us or Fall Guys, and then applied through other means such as generating humanoid figures contextualising largely social attitudes given through the means of online interaction and discussion with the topics. Through combining these identifiable features, we can create pieces of art such as this, and reconstruct them in other branching factors such as romance, and more notably girls love. The exploration of correlated wordplay exhibited in this piece entices further contribution to the concept, not to mention the relation to the aforementioned internet culture surrounding them.

It's nuts how quickly KibaSacchi became the Watamote "It" couple. It's a bit like Minami is being set up to be the baby Tomoko. I agree with everyone that says AsuKuro should be top 5. I would put NemoYuri in 6th place. Yuri's clingy jealous behaviour around Tomoko puts NemoYuri a bit behind, and Asuka's the main girl who's going after Tomoko in a non-neurotic, straightforward way. Watamote is the most ensemble ensemble comic out there, even though it has a clear MC.

ATLA had more episodes in total and per season which gave it more room for character driven filler and even though it got cancelled early*, it still didn't have to live in fear of not getting renewed for multiple seasons like Korra.

TLoK has a lot of flaws, and Korra and Asami don't really have enough screen time, but the shows does what it needs to get its points across, even if it has to stoop to subtext to get there.

And as much as TLoK failed, it did succeed in breaking the barrier for wlw couples in western children's animation. We got a lot of kisses out of most if not all subsequent shows.

*the biggest result of this is azula missing her redemption and getting dumped in the trash with all her flaws blamed on mental illness. Easily the weakest part of the show, it tarnishes Zuko's arc as well by softening their abusive upbringing.

Bathwater

I think Belle Delphine(?) started the gamer girl bathwater thing although maybe that's just in the US? The concept of Tomoko watching Belle Delphine would be hilarious. Hilarious.

@NexiKuro
Three big inaccuracies here. Firstly, ATLA was not cancelled early. It was not cancelled in any way. It was a critical and commercial success, and a major one at that.

Secondly, Azula's abusive upbringing was very much explored in-depth, in the comics, and how the combination of both her father and her mother's influences (although that was never her mother's intention) warped her mind.

And thirdly, TLoK never had to fear of not getting renewed. All four books of the series were approved and bought up by the network before the first episode even aired, giving massive benefits to the creators in terms of what they could now do with the story, given that the airing was secured no matter what.

In fact, it was because TLoK was bought up in advance by Nickelodeon that the show was not cancelled. TLoK's viewership declined significantly after book one and it continued to plummet all the way to the end of the series. In fact, with the third book the series received such poor ratings that mid-season it was removed from Nickelodeon's broadcast and relegated to online distribution. Under normal circumstances such a series would have likely been cancelled, but since TLoK was already approved and payed for under contract in its entirety, that was not an option.
