^As great as it is for fans of this ship, I can't help but be disappointed that Asuka x Tomoko won't make it because only top 5 pairings. At least the UcchiMoko chapter was really cute and we will also be getting Yuri x Nemo.

Yeah, I'm kinda shocked that Nemo x Yuri and Minami x Sachi won out over Asuka x Tomoko. Not that I don't like those two ships, I just didn't expect them to be that popular.

^YuriMoko was number one followed by NemoKuro. Asuka x Tomoko was only 6th. You can check out the rest of the rankings on chapter 192.6 on mangadex if you want.

I think they made it to fourth place so surprisingly fast simply because it was new and surprising, like, we get the nasty girl face reveal and then boom shipped too! and right after the poll happened, so the hype won at the end... because people already get plenty of of Asuka x Kuro in normal chapters I guess xD

I'm happy that this couple get into 4th place, but also super sad and bitter that Asuka x Tomoko didn't. I honestly don't see the appeal of YuriMoko and somehow that one's first??
Edit: my fcking god NemoYuri even got 5th place. I'm now mad.

Yuri is one of the first real friends Tomoko made and they have a great dynamic together. If anything,it would have surprised me if TomoYuri wasn't first.

Yuri is also one of the biggest raging eccentrics in the cast - a no mean feat - which tends to make any interaction with her... interesting.

It's nuts how quickly KibaSacchi became the Watamote "It" couple. It's a bit like Minami is being set up to be the baby Tomoko. I agree with everyone that says AsuKuro should be top 5. I would put NemoYuri in 6th place. Yuri's clingy jealous behaviour around Tomoko puts NemoYuri a bit behind, and Asuka's the main girl who's going after Tomoko in a non-neurotic, straightforward way. Watamote is the most ensemble ensemble comic out there, even though it has a clear MC.

They are, really, soulmates. That said, now realise it's Kuroki we're talking about: is a soulmate for her really a good idea? She probably needs someone she has less in common with.
