I don't know why but I keep on laughing at the "Mama Michiko!" every time i read this. xD it just sounds awesome when you say it out loud.

I didn't see through the magic trick either, nice twist.

The two and the mum could really provide enough comedy for a volume or two.

Also nice way to announce/implement the passage of the ten days. And the range of facial expressions from comical effect to heartfelt emotion is mesmerizing.

Wonder what happened to Tanaka Minoru? This one-shot was really impressive when I read it back then. Story lives up to its title. I was really surprised haha.

I wanted her to be with Mama Machiko but this is good too

My favorite part is the bit on the ferris wheel. After learning the twist, go back and read it again. It's implied that Kana told Mama Michiko about confessing to another girl, so she knew while the daughter (who apparently had never met Kana) had no idea.
So.. did Mama set her daughter up with the poor little heartbroken girl? <3

This whole switcheroo was so well done, the fact that she didnt know the girl was gay and had to improvise after finding out that the girl had spoken to her mum about it... yes. Great magic trick hehe
