Yeah, I thought it was Yukari or at least another Touhou character that I couldn't immediately remember the name of at first, but then I was like who is the other girl, really?? Then I read the tags. There had to be a reference here that I don't know of, plus there seems to be a age gap/size difference in this picture.
I....These official arts are just "yep, they're totally married and totally together and hah to anyone who believes otherwise." Makes me happy.

Considering how flat their chest are, would say they're around middle school, they do seem taller than in A's, so I suspect this is after elementary school.

Hmm, the roles are right by hair color, but if you go with plot they should be reversed IMO.

Oh man Nyamo x Yukari was one of my first ships. I actually think Azumanga was the series that got me into fanfiction and thus into yuri in the first place.
...Haha I just checked the tag and turns out there were other Azumanga stuff already uploaded before today. This makes me happy, but we need more!
