Yaaaaas was so excited for the anime to fully come out. Unlike in the light novel (english), we can see how gay these two are from the start. It was a lovely first episode and the second one will be even gayer (๑>ᴗ<๑)

@Clueless 1 Funny enough, you could argue the surfboard is “medieval” (although not in the usual European sense), since the Polynesians were likely rocking those things long before Europe’s Middle Ages (which is generally what Medieval is implied to refer to). The artificially colored fruity drinks and whatever syrup Lysithea is pouring on her ice are probably a bit more modern, though. Hell, if we’re referring specifically to real-world technology and aesthetics (since fantasy is far more nebulous to define in those terms), the picture is far more modern than it is medieval.
