What do you all think of Waai Fu and FEater?

Saw a ton of fanart so I started playing a few weeks ago. I love it! I am a little stuck at this stage where materials for e2s are not quite possible to get yet and I'm in chapter 5. I'm a little stuck in a slow grind with how few stamina potions they seem to give. Currently stuck on 5-3.

You can watch a guide when stuck, KyoStinV has good videos where he doesn't use E2 operators (other than the levels where it pretty much necessary, but you should have an E2 unit at that point)

What do you all think of Waai Fu and FEater?

Waai Fu is obviously the best waifu. I have her at E2 lvl 70 mastery 3 skill 2 for countering explosive bugs. FEater is nice but I like Shaw more. For practicality, FEater is the better choice.

Besides the tip that Yarn gave, you can also just level up your 3* to e1 max and also your Specialists....I think that's all you need for the dualchip stages iirc.
So basically: Fang, Plume/Vanilla, Melantha, Ansel, Hibiscus, Rope/Cliffheart, Shaw/FEater, Kroos, Rangers/any other sniper, Lava/12f, Steward/Durin, Beagle, Cardigan/Noir corne, and maybe Gravel/Yato, Orchid. Obviously upgrade if available. HP loss maps might be too difficult with weak healers/DPS. Ranged Guards are pretty useful.
You can check Eckogen for low lvl clears too!

The first 2, I don't play the game but I have friends who do~ still, I saw their designs and I like them, so I went to read their info, they have things in common like practicing kung fu, the round glasses and well the Panda & Tiger combo reminds me of Kung Fu Panda and martial arts hahahaha but they have a contrast of one being diligent and serious and wants to be a hero of justice (Waai fu) and the other more laid back and was an actress (FE) so I Thought they might get along.... Also, one has a big chest and the other ... a fluffy tail hahaha.

And I might be drawing them together... not as yuri couple yet.

I also like Swire and Kroos

Swire is really pretty just not amazing gameplay-wise. Kroos is AK Sandy so I love her.

Hehehe I want to try a ying yang kind of thing with them and if I get a good reaction then maybe something more cute

The mention of yuri made me reflect on how I started playing this game for the yuri undertones and am now completely trapped by the gameplay, ever-sanity-draining resource grinding, and story. This game is really amazing. Random appreciation post.

I started playing because of AL. The communities overlap a bit.

Weird question: do you guys farm skill books CA-3 or CA-5? I usually need more green books so I swapped to CA-3, but now that I'm doing mastery lvls I am running a bit low on both.

Also, might have to e2 Blue poison next due to inconsistent auto anni 3 runs.
M3'd Ch'en too. Just ask if you need her instead of Ifrit for some reason.

Generally, or when I am going for mastery, CA-5 until I have enough of the blue books I need. That way, when I do need green books, CA-5 will already give me some. If I still do not have enough, then CA-3.

Btw, heads up, Angelina and Meteorite in the shop on Friday. Personally going for Meteorite. Can finally combo her with Liskarm and Ch'en.

I got Meteorite from a 9 hour recruitment this morning, I would be tempted to level her up but I am busy levelling GreyThroat.

My GreyThroat is currently E1 lvl 60 with rank 7 skill, and I have about half the resources needed to promote her to E2.

No real reason to rerun Anni3 though, you only save very marginal amounts of Sanity compared to reaching the weekly cap with judicious combo of the (much easier and duly autoable) other two.

I actually payed attention this time to the auto and noticed sometimes it was Platinum on the bottom getting one shot at around 380~ so now I know when to take over. I got Blue poison to lvl 70 and that seems to fix the top auto, hitting trust 100 might make it safe auto. I'm not using Exusiai because her RNG buff might mess up the timings.

The only reason I do Anni 3 is so I can watch SilverAsh wipe out the 350 wave.

Half-year anniv on Wed. It will have a guaranteed 6 star 10 pull ticket but costs money

Don't have Hoshi and Exusia. I want the latter more but I'd rather have dupe Eyja/Ch'en than dupe Siege/Skadi.

Yeah I saw the GSSR...I can afford it just fine but I'm getting a bit worried lol so many games want to drain wallet-kun.
Of course I'm taking option A. I want Saria but those are 2/3 odds of dupes. Hoshi or Eyja would be nice to have.

Sadly no Exusia for me. My Siege is now 1 DP less to deploy. Also no Broca sadly but I got 2 Reeds and finally Schwarz. Now, the birb can be with her cat. Overall satisfied with these rolls.

I can afford it but I don't want to buy it (and I will probably get a dupe as I already have 1 or 2 of the girls in each banner)

Got myself a duplicate Saria. Well, at least it's someone I use all the time.
Also Glaucus (I guess if I specifically need to kill drones there's some niche use) and Vermeil (definitely doesn't seem useful).

Getting kinda bored with the entire thing anyway. Feels like most of the time I'm just grinding chars for the sake of grinding them ^^;

Got a new Hoshiguma and Greyy. The rest was a dupes but Silence pot 5 now lol

Vermeil is pretty decent. I build her recently and her base skill is pretty useful as well.

Well, there's not much else to do if right now you cleared everything. You can always take a break and maybe just auto the LMD/EXP stages once or twice a day.

Just hoping Hoshi shows up in the cert shop.... again. I kinda regret missing her that time. Didn't have enough yellow certs either. Based on CN, she does show up in the shop a couple more times. Also hoping for Broca spook preferably while rolling and failing to get Nian and Aak.

What's a recommended amount of rolls stored up to get any limited unit? Like more than 50?

Also does annihilation lungmen take less time to clear or chernobog? They take so long so even if I have to spend a bit more sanity for less irl time, I'd prefer that option.

"As many as it takes" - it's RNG, there's no guarantees whatsoever. Even the pity mechanic only guarantees eventually getting a 6* Op, not necessarily the one you're after, so theoretically it's possible to make an infinite number of pulls without ever getting a specific one...

Basically if you really want a particular Op from a particular banner just hoard as much Originium and as many tickets as you can to maximise your chances.

I reckon 4x Lungmen Outskirts (aka Annihilation 2 for short) plus 2x Cherno (aka Anni 1) is the most economical when it comes to the sum of time, Sanity and effort spent - or that's what I run for the weekly cap anyway. Then again I play through an emulator on a desktop so I just set the auto running and tab to whatever so take the assessment with a grain of salt... :d
