I guarantee you, without the slightest sliver of hesitation in my heart, that there is nary a lesbian in the entire world who would not at least -entertain- the idea of having sex with their girlfriend in her 8 foot tall amazon goddess form.
The shift from the old She-ra form to the new one represents Adora slowly learning to allow herself to have emotional attachments to other people: what allows her to access the new form in the first place is her concern for Catra. The new version also only shows up once Adora and Catra are on the same side. It makes sense thematically for Catra to have some level of dislike for the old She-ra form, but not for the new form, imo.
Does anyone ever wonder in these games if the VA's of these characters are voicing them in the isekai version of the game? Like if I'm playing a Symphogear game and get isekai'd to that world would Aoi Yuki be talking to me as Hibiki? It makes you think.
@thechampionmike95, I actually started wondering that while reading 'Endo and Kobayashi’s Live Commentary on the Villainess' if the game was getting new voice lines.
I disagree with Trancendent Egg. Adora's never had trouble "allowing herself to have emotional attachments". She has always had healthy friendships. Even her relationship with Catra was pretty healthy before they had their falling out over Adora leaving the Horde.. New She-Ra represents Adora drawing She-Ra from herself rather than from the First Ones sword. She looks more like Adora because she comes from Adora rather than coming from Mara's sword. She -does- generally come out when Catra is in danger, that's because She-Ra is literally powered by love, so Adora can only get her when she is motivated by her love.
