I don't think anyone believes that it's a valid headcanon based solely on the synopsis. Oh btw, I might be the one you saw on reddit saying the synopsis thing. To clarify, I only mentioned that as just an assumption of mine on the possible reason why people would headcanon her as such.

Also, isn't that like the point of headcanons? It doesn't have do be based on anything. People can think of whatever headcanon they can think of. There's literally no such thing as "valid" nor "invalid" headcanon. I don't think anyone even said that it was a "valid heacanon".
