i see outarou coming back in the last chapter!!! that rain is deff one step closer to her real goal for sure!

Ran acting all grown up, and not her usual childish self is very unexpected. I guess it makes sense if the next one is really the last story arc. I hope the Author nails the ending.

Chapter 40 has to be my favourite by far. Getting to see all the different sides and emotions of Ran at once worked brilliantly as a plot device. At that point I might have been tempted to throw out the negative parts to 'cleanse' her of her mourning, but she couldn't be whole with out every little part of her, and that was just a beautiful little theme thrown in there.

Wow, so this is it, the END... :'< I'm kinda disappointed about the end but well, may be this is the best.

The ending was rather underwhelming, but it was nice anyway. Peaceful.

Personally, I loathed Outarou. He almost redeemed himself at the end, but I hated his guts before that. A pervert through and through, who would bang a teen with the mind of a 10yo in a heartbeat, that changed his ways because of love? I'm not buying it, sorry.

And I liked Hibi, because he did all the right things at the right moment and even though he was a bit of a tsundere, he really cared for Ran and grieved for Outarou with her.

So, Happy End for me... :P

This started really good and intriguing, but they just have to fuck it up. It would be so much better if it go heavy on the adventure aspect of the story rather than the romance. Because the love interests here sucks. One creep pervert 20 something guy craving after a minor (we know she is really ten, and it's disturbing), one bully whose abuse to Ran was forgiven just because he said sorry, and he groped her. Just why??

Of course when a boy messes with a girl, hurts her, throws her precious things away, he's definitely having a crush on her and just being a tsundere. Isn't it bad enough with girls abusing guys already?

It really does get better. I found the ending satisfactory.

And it does go heavier on it later. Outarou is important because he gets infested by bugs and dies after wiping out Haimachi. They canonically eat all of his internal organs. Hibi mans up and stops being such a dope about his feelings.
