I know this is an old post, but damn. Just re watched the episode and while been at the verge of dying, been constantly blasted, whipped, pierced from the inside out and air dodging said blasts while said stabs keep going (summarised: a lot of freaking pain and stress!) and all Hibiki can think of is "who made Miku cry!?"
Adding to above, The Wonderful * Singing Hood is a propaganda-like piece of a shoujo manga that the Japanese government in the Symphogear series actually made to cover up the activities the cast were doing behind-the-scenes which ended up being a smash hit apparently getting an anime in-universe. Chris’ character song IRL was merely a reference to it. The full title would be confusing so I went with a shoujo title that kept both the reference and the namesake. You can even read the plot summary of the Singing Hood manga on the actual website of Symphogear.
Apparently after AXZ ended, Chris got hooked on the series after having merely left the anime adaptation of it on the TV in the background a few times, which influenced her greatly. https://www.symphogear-axz.com/keywords/key26.php
^ Fairly sure- not all Japanese has to have kana, if you have just a couple of words or a small sentence.
I tried using my phone on it, it cant pick up the tiny lower line but the upper line it got 'spring medical survey' - im sure thats not very accurate but its in the ballpark, so it must be getting some of the words and it thinks Japanese.
... Is this a reference to something? Artoria has red markings on her cheeks that kinda remind me of Native American facial war-paint, and then there are the ghostly horns emerging from her head.
