Why is this character sometimes tagged Protagonist and other times Gudako

^ technically the female protagonist has no name, but thanks to the gudaguda gag strips they're commonly referred to as Gudako, to the point that pretty much everyone recognizes her as such. The male protagonist has officially received the name Ritsuka, and I've seen it occasionally be applied to the female, but it's never really caught on, so Gudako she remains.

I think with Dorothea many fan artists ship Dorothea/Petra, Dorothea/Ingrid, or Dorothea/Edelgard more than Dorothea/Byleth. That and Byleth/Edelgard is probably one of the most popular ships in Three Houses.

^^ Well if you're playing the game it gives one free ten-rolls for every Saturday and Sunday until the anime ends. I've been too busy playing the game (and FGO) to watch the episodes myself. Hopefully I'll find time to watch them soon.

Also, this is one of my favorite ships in Magia Record along with Momoko/Mitama, Rika/Ren, Tsukasa/Tsukuyo, Iroha/Sana, and Hinano/Emiri (too bad there's almost no fan art of this ship).
