When will this be continued?

Hnnghh, this is a perfect excuse to see Akaga rewind back from the beginning. I would've loved to see the history between them in the show but this makes up for it for now. Until season 2? :D

The art is very well done, not to mention, the plot and story were better than I expected, this author really pulled it off! I love it! What I appreciate most here is that the characters are actually themselves and pretty intact to the series even though the tone is pretty serious and grim, but the artist has pulled it off really well. Gewd job, artist, gewd job :,D

Hmm, is the second book out yet, or is it delayed again?

I don't think Nakatani will finish it anytime soon seeing as they're busy doing their original manga on Dengeki Daioh

Damn, that's a shame. At least it didn't leave it on a too big cliffhanger. Hopefully though it will come out by the end of the year xD

I rather they spend most of their time on making Bloom Into You amazing so I don't mind if this doesn't get a part 2 any time soon.

Someone in yamibo forum got a hold of part 2 preview book. Going from the pictures alone Kaga requests to be transferred to a different unit than Akagi #2. She also moves out of their shared room. Akagi #2 slaps Kaga. Akagi #2 meets Kaga #2 in a uniform, suggesting either this is a released 'Kaga' or a scrapped one. The plot thickens....I don't have time and anybody to help (nag) me to translate the Chinese translation into English even if just to satisfy curiosity.

If you want someone to nag, I can do it :P But that convolution is stupid. Might as well just start a new one if a new Kaga is gonna be introduced.

Your help(nagging) solves half of the problems. Unless someone offer me a bounty big enough to make me skip work, a fluent Chinese speaker would be more reliable. They did mention there are many shipgirls in the first part. Having another Kaga meet Akagi#2 puts Akagi#2 in the same spot as Kaga#1, it's not surprising, kinda cool to me and looking at her current work now, complicate plot is her forte it seems.

I'm not on yamibo so I don't know about bounties and stuff xD But I really do want to see the second part and maybe third if there will be one depending on the author and the ending of the second part.

I guess it all comes down to how she's handled it, 'Bloom Into You' is pretty good after all, but it seems like going back to square one instead of continuing with the story. I dunno, as I said, it comes down to execution.

Ya know, if that's how things would be then the title is even more vague. It's not the sea or the wind that is unrest. Something is up with the people on land. Can't be sure which 'calm' is this.

I don't.
This is the half of the second part which nakatani nio have drawn,
and I don't think I can live and wait for that long to watch the rest of the story :( (it has been five years after the sequel)

I really like the story,,
I really wish the concept of ship sinks to become abyssal and and the mass production of ship girls is just astonishing..
This concept should be made into the movie or anime whatever instead of Kancolle anime we currently get..

Anyway, this is a bit off-topic, but I am glad that nakatani nio have a new anime of her own - Bloom into you

The second part really needs to be translated man. Also I wish this would get finished- such a good story.
